Determined, I agree with u on that one. It would be wise to take her to a doctor so she would have to go in for monthly visits while taking it and be monitored by a doctor. I personally like the idea of getting a checkup every month. Not that i'm a hypochondriac (sp), but its nice to know that if anything happens while i'm on this stuff my doctor will know how to help me. Plus she keeps an eagle eye on my cholestrol and blood pressure. I tell ya when I was 16 I would have killed for my sis to get me something like this, but on the other hand, Now that i'm a little older and wiser (tee-hee-hee) I appreciate how hard I have worked to get me here, if I were younger I would not have, I would have done a half **** job and inevitably failed. Maturity has alot to do with it. I would let her try it on her own and see how far she can take it. I know how she feels, I was not a "skinny" teenager by any means. Even in highschool I was 170-190lbs. It went down hill from there. I did not have time nor did I have the will power to go through with a diet. If she can do a little at a time and be happy with that then she will be fine, If she wants the "quick fix", then she is not ready. Nothing good comes easy. Even with the phen you still have to work your butt off to see results.
Keep on motivating her the best you can and be a role model for her, let her see how great you are doing, and she will want to follow.
