    Question

    I know I've always read that the healthiest way to lose weight is 2-3 pounds a week. Since I've lost 16 in 3 weeks...I'm worried.

    Is it because I'm exercising too much and eating too little? LOL

    Do you know what the negative effects are of losing it too fast?

    I say enjoy!! Fit is right about the water weight.
    You will have to be very careful when you stop phen so it doesn't come back on. Also, make sure you are eating enough calories. Because once you stop the phen you will be so hungry and want more calories and that will put weight back on!!

    I agree with Fit about the water as well. Just enjoy it. The trick is (in my opinion) to train yourself while you are on the Phen. Train yourself to eat well and eat smaller meals more often. Your stomach will shrink and you will get fuller faster, but you will get hungry more often, which is what our Docs tell us to do anyway because it keeps your metabolism charged.

    I think that's about normal for most first time phen users. Enjoy it while it lasts, b/c it'll probably come to a plateau soon and then you'll be wondering why you're not losing. Our bodies are weird like that. You're doing great and keep it up!!

    This was the same questions I had when I lost 11.5 the first week....the last thing I want to do is lose too fast then put it on just as quickly...but my doc said the same as these ladies...the first few weeks will be alot of water weight and if you were like I was I ate ALL the time even tho i was in denial lol so when I reduced my cals and began to walk my body said ITS ABOUT DA*N TIME GIRL LETS REWARD YOU WITH A LIL EXTRA THIS WEEK or at least that is what I think

    3/25/04 288.5 -11.5
    4/01/04 280 -8.5
    4/14/04 273.5 -6.5
    GW 135
    From now on I will be weighing in once a month.
