This week I concentrate on drinking 12 servings of water daily. I will use this same thread all week instead of making new ones and cluttering up the main forum.

Most of you can ignore it as you did the original post I made without my feeling rejected. LOL This is for me to get back on track, but I appreciate so much those women here who have offered me some support and decided to join in as well.

I'll be back after I finish the 12! Good luck to everyone else!

Hi Emma,
I read your post from yesterday and all the responces. I', too, am extremely frustrated with my weight. I started 30mg Phen almost 3 weeks ago and have lost 5 lbs. I have not been consistant with water (I, too, need 10-12 per day), I have not been working out, I have not been eating enough F/V. Basically, I know Phen is not a magic pill, but it does help a lot. I have been in denial...for oh-so- long. I need to be a part of some regular cheering and butt-kicking.
So, in short, I would like to join you.

I read a diary I found (from 1991) and in it I commented on how I needed to lose weight. Back then I was 26, and I weighed 181. I wrote in my diary I needed to lose 36 pounds. I can't imagine myself at that tiny weight, but as I told my doc, I guess I'll see when I get closer. For now, I'd like to get to 181, or Hell, 200!

So, I'll check in later, see if you responded and document how much water I've had. I have some ideas for subsequent weeks, too.

Keep your chin up--we'll get it done together!

Emma - read your post as well. I can totally sympathize with you about weight...I have needed to lose for awhile, used to be fit, but have let things slip...mostly sympathy eating with my wife when she was pregnant. She lost the weight, I didn't.

I drink alotta water - both before and after I started Phen. I keep a bottle with me almost at all times. I started Phen 37.5mg on 5/5 and weighed 275, and this morning I was down to 260! Haven't changed my exercise habits, just eating habits. Exercise is next!

Good luck in your quest. There are a few non-leg-humping guys on here as well to offer support!

Susan, I am glad to have something in common with you right off the bat ... a diary! I looked back at 1994-1996 and found complaints regarding my weight at 150 pounds. Things like, "I'm huge! This must stop!" I wore a size 6 and was muscular, but didn't really have any self-esteem. Now I do feel good about who I am, but I am not comfortable in my own skin. I'm glad you will be joining me.

Blake, first off, the non-leghumping variety of male is the type I like best. Congratulations on losing those 15 pounds so quickly! That's amazing! I must admit, eating with your pregnant wife is adorable. Congratulations on her loss as well. That's not easy to lose sometimes. Out of curiosity, what did you change regarding your diet and how much water do you drink? Thanks!

Dang, Blake! 15lbs in 2 weeks?! How'd you do that?? I was really stoked after the first week of taking Phen when I had lost 5+lbs...Then mother's Day came & went...and I've been hovering around 209.4-209.8 since then.

I thought Phen boosted metabolism? It must...cuz i've been the task master ever since I started it, cleaning closets, organizing bookshelves, etc. If so, then why did my weight loss stall out?

My goal for this week is to get below 209. Even if it's 208.9 (not including the water).

Mel, I started yesterday as well. Got my 12 in then, but was "officially" starting today. I woke up at 2am to make a bathroom trip myself. LOL I am in a lot better spirits today. Thank you for asking. I think just taking a bit of control has made me feel like at least I'm doing something. What about you?

12? you are doing great!! Yeah I feel better too just knowing I have started and will continue to do this. We are going to feel so great and look so good in a few weeks. Just know that if you are having a weak day let me know and I will motivate you to get back on track. That is what we have to do to help each other.

I bought slimfast yesterday and they have new ones out that have only 1 net gram of carb so I bought those (vanilla) and will have one for lunch. I dont think they are going to taste that good but maybe I will add a banana or strawberries in it and blend it together to add some more taste.

Whats on your meal plan today?

Mel, I'm not even doing meal plans right now. I mean, I am starting out at the bottom of the totum pole. All I am concerned about this week is water. I don't want to put anymore pressure and guilt on myself than that. Little baby steps all the way for me. For the last 2 plus years I have failed by doing too much at once. Next week I add in cardio 5x a week and then I will concentrate on that and water. Little by little I'll be changing my diet. Although, I had shredded wheat for breakfast, but I like that stuff anyway.

Missus, thank you. My dad came home on Saturday from rehabilitation. He is doing better walking, but is still FULL of fluids. He went in due to congestive heart failure. I swear, I don't know what keeps him going. No one ... not even the doctors ... thought he'd still be around. On a happier note, my new clothing is coming in this week so I'll be having more listings then. All size 14 and up ... for men and women.

Careful adding strawberries, etc to the Slimfast...the fruit will add a lot of carbs. Esp. strawberries.

Hey--what kind of stuff do you sell on eBay? I have an eBay store, too, www.stores.ebay.com/thecybergaragesale

Cater, I wrote back to you and have no idea where it went. I sell plus size and big and tall clothing, plus antiques. I am clearing out all my inventory (getting in one new shipment) for summer. I love doing it because I think everyone should have beautiful clothes at every size ... and not have to pay more for it!!

Hey I was thinking about all the exercise I get walking to the bathroom because I'm drinking more water, not to mention the mini squats I have to do once I get there. NO telling who's been on that seat before me. I work in a High School. Good luck with your 12 waters. I have a hard time consuming 3 bottles a day. Wish me luck that I can drink more of it!
