Gooood morning or afternoon....How is everyone. I went to my consultation today and all I can say is that.....There is nooooooooooo way, I am going to that place. Its nice and all, but no.

For a 6month membership it is 3 monthly pymnts of $299.00. She told me that instead of Phen, they wanted me to try Optifast. Those are shakes and she was like drink 5 a day. no food. Are you crazy?? I gosta eat..right. But not only do you pay 299, but $125.00 a week for the shakes. SHe said I could lose 50 pds in 12 weeks.

When I asked about the phen, she told me it will take like a year to lose 50 pds. She said it cost $65 every other week. I was like...no way. I can pay $65 one time for a 30 day supply.

But...I hve an appointment on 04/08..so I will wait for that....I say shoot..I can pay my carnote for that much, or for that matter, just join a gym. Thats crazy!!!!

But yeah...its too much.

......hi heisawesome......well forget the clinic and the shakes.....go to your dr and get your phen.....join a gym and you will still be saving lots of money.....there are a lot of great fruit smoothies that are great and there a lot cheaper......good luck....and let us know how your doing.........foxxie

What a ripoff! There is NO WAY you should go to that clinic. They just want your money. I pay $27/month for phen (I have a prescription from my doctor and get the phen from WalMart Pharmacy, it's cheapest there) AND I go to a gym AND I eat regular foods, just less of it. And I'm losing weight! I'm also teaching myself better eating habits like portion control and only eating if im really hungry. The Phen helps you do that, because it takes your hunger away.

Any weight you would have lost on those shakes, you would have gained back and THEN some! There is no "quick fix magic pill" for permanent weight loss. Only eating less and working out more! The phen makes it possible.

I seriously wouldn't waste that kind of money on Optifast. Oprah did that years ago, remember? She lost a TON of weight pretty fast and gained it all back.

After many trials and errors, I know in my gut that the ONLY way to achieve permanent weight loss is to cut calories, eat smart and exercise at least 5 times a week. The exercise can't end when the goal is reached either or the weight will creep back up. It's hard doing it the slow way -- I am the most impatient person on the planet, but I know this is the last time I am ever going to deal with this problem!

Holy Cr@p. That is INSANE. The only way you're gonna lose it is if you're motivated period - end of story. And you really sound like you're ready to do this. So, don't waste your money on some over priced clinic. Save the money for the new clothes you're gonna have to buy.

I know thats right....I think its funny though. I dont wanna lose weight that bad. Its cheaper to just run and eat less. You will save more money cause you dont eat as much.

I think I am going to go in with my friend. We can get 90 cnt frm this website for $155...thats $78 each. Thats pretty good.

I am ready to do this. I feel sooo bloated and am ready to get this junk off. That Atkins was pretty good, but I am stuck at 198. Was 208. I dont know whats going on.

Optifast is a really fast way to drop it - but....in my opinion - if you don't learn portion control now - what's the use - you drop the weight - then when they turn you loose with food - LOOK OUT - a year or less down the road - you are ready for Optiripoff again - don't do it -do the phen to help you learn to ear wiser and walk if nothing else - costs nothing and you might meet neighbors you never knew you had

there is a weight loss clinic there and it is $55 for the first visit and $35.00 a month after that, but they are open only 2 weeks per month

Girl you have the right idea!! They said you could lose 50 pounds in 12 weeks, well I've lost 47 in less than that! And I still have until April 6th to make it an even 50! And I've done it with Phen for a lot less than that and I didn't drown myself in Shakes!

HEY nieghbor!!! You might of went to the same clinic I went to last year! They are definately in it for the money!!! I let the dr. know I thought they were ripping people off...He got mad and rude. Told me I was destin to stay fat and could never do it on my own, basically because I was too weak and that was why I was there! WELL< 53 pounds later here I am! AND still going strong!

I think you got the right idea now! You can do it I have faith in you! Good luck!
