Hey everyone It seem that I've been stuck at the same darn weight for three weeks now, has that ever happen to any one? I'm on 37.5 Adipex, should I consider taking 1 1/2 of the pill everyday?

5'7 1/2
Highest weight - 9/01 203 pounds ( a few days after delivery of my daughter)

Starting weight 187 lbs 10/04
Current weight 168 lbs 12/02
(didn't take pills for 2 weeks in between)

HEY CHAN I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT TOO
I AM ALSO STUCK AT THE SAME WEIGHT FOR A MONTH NOW GAINING 2-3 POUNDS BACK AND FORTH
I TAKE THE CAPSULES OF PHENTERMINE SO I AM NOT SURE HOW TO SPLIT IT IN HALF
I MIGHT BE IMMUNE TO THE PILLS NOT SURE
I HOPE SOMEONE CAN GIVE US AN ANSWER

I HAVENT STALLED OUT YET PERSONALLY, BUT MY DOCTOR DID TELL ME THAT MY BODY WOULD BUILD A RESISTANCE TO THE PHEN AND SHE SAID TO STOP TAKING IT FOR ABOUT 4 WEEKS AND THEN GO BACK ON IT AND IT WOULD START WORKING AGAIN. BUT LIKE I SAID IT HASNT QUIT FOR ME YET SO I HAVENT TRIED THIS MYSELF BUT I CAN CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND THE THEORY BEHIND IT. NOW JUST RECENTLY IVE REALIZED THAT IM DOING A PHEN-PRO COMBINATION OF THE PHEN AND TRAZODONE AND THAT PROLONGS THE EFFECTS OF THE PHEN, IVE BEEN TAKING THE TRAZODONE FOR A YEAR OR SO AND JUST NEVER STOPPED WHEN I STARTED THE PHEN AND LOW AND BEHOLD COME TO FIND OUT, IM ON PHEN-PRO, I GUESS YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY. IT IS POSSIBLE THATS WHY THE PHEN HASNT STOPPED WORKING FOR ME. GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH

I am with the other Tammy on this one. Are you exercising? If not add something simple like walking. Adding just a 30 minute brisk workout 3-4 x's a week can help you loose about 14 lbs in 12 weeks alone. If you are already exercising then switch it up a little bit if you exercise in the evening then switch and exercise first thing in the morning before breakfast this is suppose to allow you to get greater fat burning because the theory is you have been asleep all night and haven't ate. So you are exercising on an empty stomach and your body has to go to its fat reserves for energy. Think of your fat as a savings account kind of Make sure you are drinking water and lots of it. Look at your diet and what you are eating and drinking is there something you can adjust to get you off of this plateu? When I first when on Phen I first stopped drinking Dr. Pepper and started to exercise like a mad woman did not change anything else in my diet and lost 9 lbs the first week. When I noticed I wasn't loosing I cut out white bread and started to eat wheat bread. See what I mean? You do not need to make drastic changes to your diet all at once. Small simple changes when you are ready is best and helps you stick to your diet and get you to your goal weight Tammy

Thanks TLGreene for the good advice, I did consult with my doc and he did say that your body builds tolerance for the drug so your body will require more than just onw pill. Since I'm taking the 37.5 tablets with my doc's permission I'm going to cut one in half and start taking as of tomorrow 1 1/2 pill per day. I will stop taking the pills for 3 weeks and then start again basically to shock my body. Wish me good luck, i'm dying to lose this baby fat.
