Hi everyone! I was just wondering if you guys have a cheat day? I have one day a week when I eat whatever I want(within reason) for lunch and dinner. Do any of you do this? Well, usually my cheat day is Friday, and I am addicted to this new Mexican restaraunt. But I think that mexican food is pretty bad for you. I eat the nachos with beef, cheese and refried beans. I know that cheese they have must be full of fat. It's the white creamy kind. Does anyone know how much fat is in mexican food? I have looked all over the web, but don't see anything. I know it's bad, but maybe if I knew how bad I could quit this crap.

Hi Thin. Did the restaurant have a nutrition pamphlet? If not, go online and you can a general idea of what fat content is in a chimichange, etc. But, mexican food is the best. I just can't find a good mexican restaurant within reasonable distance. And, usually it is expensive. Did you remember to have a little sippy with your sin food I have to have a daquair(sp) when I go for mexican food. One day a week is a good idea. Have a great day. Missus

missus- Why is it that a daquiri goes so well with mexican? It just does, but I rarely do have one. Drinks cost so much at rest., but they are good! I can find the nutrition info on just about everything except what I eat, the nachos. I found one that said 23 grams of fat for 7 chips. Good lord, I know I eat a lot more than seven chips! well, maybe i should cut back, or find something elsse to cheat with! Thanks for replying, you always have a kind word to offer. I appreciate that.

OOhh girl, mexican is my favorite. Fajitas and Chimichangas..ooh i'm drooling. You need to take one day a month to have what you want, that keeps you from falling off the wagon. Don't be so hard on yourself, as long as you get right back with it the next day you will be okay!!!

Boomer, you got that right girl. Hubby and I went to a mexican restaurant back in June (by Mall of America). Had taco soup, the chips, etc. But I order this drink, can't remember the name of it, but it was blue and in a huge daq glass. The cost? 10.50. Hubby told me that would be my last blue drink. But it was soooo good. Missus

Thin, I had no idea the chips were that full of fat. Oh well, since I'm on Atkins, I'll save that for my treat at Christmas time
