Any big plans for the 4th?

Our city is finally allowing fireworks this year - it has been so dry the past 2 years they put a ban on them. The city also puts on a parade, but that is usually a political thing - everyone who wants to get elected or be re-elected sits in fancy cars and does the beauty queen wave.

Whatever you do - be safe and have fun!!

I'm driving down to Charleston, SC tommorow night. Nothing big planned, just alot of R & R. Probably will catch the fireworks display at the battery or someplace else.

I live in Colorado too.... It will be nice to see the fireworks again huh!
What do you think of the heat this week? Big change isn't it?!

I will be heading about 45 min away to a lake where my friends (ShellieMSU on this site) boyfriend lives- he has boats and jet skis and a big pontoon, and tubbing and stuff. HUGE party there every year (although this is only our 2nd time there). I'm REALLY looking forward to it. I normally don't like heat, but it's been HOT HOT HOT here in MN for 2 days now, if only it could last the rest of the week.

OH OH OH- AND.....drum roll please, this friday will be the first time in like 7 years I plan to wear a swimsuit (one pc) WITHOUT shorts covering my thighs and butt! I'm scared...but sorta excited! I bought a new speedo suit when i went to Mexico in Jan and it was a lil tight....but it fits good now!

Went to Chicago Taste of Chicago, visiting , shooring fireworks, displays and shopping. Little sippy etc. Hope everyone had a nice, safe holiday! Missus
