hi gang i have been pretty mad at myself
all week
well first i have been having 2 glasses of wine almost every night for a week
now i am eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at 2a in the morning
like a rat stealing crumbs from the kitchen
this chit is really bothering me
i have been working out 5 days a week
and i started back my weight training this week
my appetite has increased again and there are 3 pounds that keep fluctuating
i feel so damn full in the morning when i sneak and eat the sandwiches
please help me

Hey Fit I am not really sure what advice I can give you except that maybe it is the wine that is giving you the munchies. HMMMMM Maybe when you get the urge to eat that sandwich you should just drink a huge glass of water and then go to bed. Or I found that what helps me with my sweet tooth is fat free pudding. I keep a supply in the bottom drawer of my fridge and when I feel the need to eat something sweet I get one. It satisfies the craving and I dont feel guilty. I know you will get past this. You are a very strong and determined woman and you have come so far already. This will pass. I hope I was some kind of help to ya and not just rambling aimlessly. LOL

you know dollars i think you are right
i guess since i have been so stressed out lately
wine and a cigarette are the only thing that relaxes me
i need to find other alternatives for relaxation

Fit- Iknow how you feel. I keep geting up and having a bowl of Cocoa Puffs (with skim milk) every night. I know it's not that bad, but I just can't help myself. Is wine really that bad for you? I have never looked. I like a glass or two every couple of weeks myself. I am not a big drinker, but I like wine. It relaxes me soo much. But the way I keep myself in line is by looking at it this way, remember how you used to eat? What would your midnight snack have been a year ago? I know mine would have been ice cream, or worse, candy bars. And I mean bars, as in plural! But now, at least even if you are eating, your eating smarter. Sometimes you just need something extra. I think you are doing wonderful, just don't get discouraged. Keep trying, that's all we can do. I hope you find the strength to resist, and I will be thinking of you. We are so much alike as far as body shape and weight, so we are in this together. P.S- I just wanted to share with you, since I know you will understand this, I looked at my measurement chart last night. I have been keeping it since 1999. My hips measured 52 1/2 inches when I first started, and at my smallest they were a 36 1/2, that is 16 freaking inches! They are now a 42, so I am still 10 whole inches lost! That's amazing. well,thanks for being you, you inspire me. I'll be thinking about you!

ooh girl i dont even want to talk about my snack years ago or months ago for that matter
it was cupcakes and twix and milk ooh wee that sounds good
i guess wine is not bad but i have this box of white wine you know the kind that you take on a trip with you
well i bought it for a art show i did two weeks ago and its still there
its like it calls me tiffany tiffany you know want a sip with your bath
you know you want a sip before you go to bed
sometimes i tell that voice to shut the hell up
then other times i am cool wheres my cup
i think sometimes i am just bored and lonely after my daughter goes to sleep
its just me in the house
i guess i need to work on that

Makean agreement with yourself to drink a big glass of water before each glass of wine. Not only will you be hydrated but It may knock you down to only one glass...And think of all teh exercise you will get runnin to the potty all night after all that water

Peanut butter & Jelly sandwiches are a weakness of mine and I did not give them up when I was trying to lose weight. Theres a secret to not makeing them be all that bad:

Make it on Wonder Light bread or another type of low fat bread. That way the calories is only 70-80 calories for 2 pieces.

Make it with the Smuckers Sugar Free Fat free jelly. They have it in blackberry and strawberry and they are really good. (I like grape but they don't make it in grape.) It is then only 20 calories for 2 tablespoons. I don't like alot of jelly and only use 1 tbsp

Measure the jelly (1 tbsp for each piece of bread) and measure the peanut butter- only 2 tbs. (190 clories)

This makes the whole sandwich only 270-280 calories. Have it with some fat free wow chips and you've had a yummy lunch for only 350 calories.

Remember that you don't have to do without. Just make it a healthier version.
