    Hi gang!
I've reached the point where I'd like a little more than the basic tape, but can't hang with the advanced all the way through.

Should I do the basic twice?(haven't tried it yet, but I could probably do it)

I did try the basic + the 8 minute and felt good after...

and yesterday I tried just doing the advanced--I did about half the tape and had to take a phone call. I didn't mind though cause I was happy to stop..lol..I'm fairly sore from that, too, even though it was only half the tape.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

I would just keep trying the advanced. Every time you do it add on another 5/10 minutes until eventually you will get through the whole tape!
Just keep reminding yourself that its only 40 min of jumping around and the other 20 minutes is floorwork. Thats what keeps me going til the end!
    Good Luck!

I agree, keep going with the Advanced. I did the same thing, when I realized the Beginner was too easy, first I combined the 8 minute with the Beginner and that felt good, but now that's too easy too! With the advance just do as much as you can, and if you get too winded or tired, just march in place and skip the next segment. Don't necessarily stop the tape, march until you feel a little recovered and try and see if you can jump back in and do a little more. If you give yourself some breathers you might find that you can do more than you think!

Good luck and have fun! But remember, if you decide to stop partway through the workout, you still have to cooldown! You can just do your own cooldown, but don't just skip it! The best thing is having it on DVD so you can just skip to the last chapter for the cooldown, but you can just as easily do some stretching on your own.
