Hey phrends! I am kind of new to this place but I just wanted to know if any of you out there have PCOS? If you have it you know what it is! And if you do, are you finding your weight loss a little bit slower? I've lost 5lbs in 4 weeks, and I don't know if this is normal or not. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi AlliJo I have PCOS and I know someone else here does too, maybe more I haven't met. Welcome!

I'm not sure what is "normal" for weight loss with phen for someone who has pcos. For me, I dropped weight pretty quickly. The first time I weighed I'd lost 17lbs in the first week. Now that was mostly water weight but it was a big shock. I've been on it just over 3 months now, and as of Jan. 27 (3 months exactly) I weighed 276. I started at 323, so that would be 47lbs in 3 months. But then again I needed to do something drastic because I had all the warning signs for diabetes. Wanted to stop it and get healthy so the doc gave me the phen and I started eating right and exercising. I started low carbing and drinking lots of water. What a change let me tell you! I had lots more energy too.

So I guess after all that rambling, I'm just going to say I think the amount of weight lost is based on the individual. Sometimes you just have to find the right combination to get things started faster, and other times its just slow yet steady. Any progress is good progress

thank you all for responding! I don't feel like im in the dark anymore. I too don't have severe symptoms, but my doctor says that what is going on inside of all of us is the same. Thanks for the motivation I think I am on the right track!
