Exclamation
Just wondering if anyone would like to share their weight loss success and how you did it. I am walking 4 days a week (major hills around my house), 45 minutes each time. I watch what I eat, try not to eat a lot of carbs. But it has been two months since I started phen and I have only lost 13 lbs. I am always reading about others losing that in a week or two. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to exercise even more? I work all as a kindergarten teacher so I am extremely active with my class all day. I really never get a chance to sit during the day. Does any one have advice for me? I would really like to be down 15 lbs. by x-mas. Share your success with me please!

Here are some things that have worked for me.

Working out in the a.m. boosts my metabolism for the rest of the day, so I burn more of the food I eat.

I stop eating at 5:30 or 6. I was surprised to find that that makes more difference than anything else.

I get between an hour and an hour and a half 6 days a week on the Nordic Track. When I first started losing in January (lost 30 pounds in 3 months), I added about 2 hours of walking (hills here too) on TOP of the Nordic Tracking. I would walk the couple of miles to get the kids from school instead of driving. It took a lot of exercise at first for me.

Drink a lot of water.

Eat your biggest meal FIRST and your smallest meal at the end of the day -- VERY hard to do, but again you have the whole day to burn those early a.m. calories and only a few hours at night to burn dinner.

I hope this helps. I'm sure other folks have suggestions too. Best blessings with your journey!

Thumbs up
First off Congrats on your weight loss!! Everyone is different here is what I have done.

I drank between 64 or more ounces of water per day. I do 45-60 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week using the elliptical mostly. I also take cardio classes or mix it up for variety. I eat low carbs and I try not to eat any carbs after 3pm.

I lost 14 pounds my first month on Phen and have lost a total of 20 up to date. I actually stop taking Phen 3 1/2 weeks ago, but I am going to start back again tomorrow.

Keep doing what you are doing. One other thing that works for me is eating every 3-4 hours. This helps me to eat smaller portion sizes and it also boosts your metabolism.

I also cut out sugar - I use splenda instead and I eat very few white white flour items i.e. white bread.

History Nut - Which Nordi Track equipment do you use. I hear people mentioned it alot, but not sure which piece. At the gym I go to they have a Nordic Track machine that is a treadmill/incline trainer.

Lucky, ONLY?!?! You are doing great! If you've gotten to a point to where the scale won't budge, give yourself a total day of vegging out...I mean don't exercise, eat whatever the heck you wanna eat and totally relax and don't worry about it. Then, the next day really get after it again. Be really strict with your eating. If you are walking 2 miles, walk 3 or 4 and add some sit-ups or something. Just really up the intensity and that might work. If you are close to your goal weight than it is a lot harder to shed those last 15 lbs. so don't compare yourself to others, cuz you're doing A-OK!! Keep it up!
