Okay, well I have seen some folks post about this, but don't remember who all is doing this now.

I just signed up for the South Beach online. So far it seems to be something I can handle. I would never try Atkins because it is just too extreme. Also everyone that I know that has done it has gained it back. I have lost almost 50 lbs without any diet. I have stalled for several months and am ready to lose the last 30 or 40. I've never lost weight before so I have never had the yo yo effect. This is what I don't want. I have steered away from most diets because I don't want to gain all the weight back after I have lost it. I have to do something that I can live with forever.

Let me know how everyone is doing and if I just wasted $35 to do this

YA JUST WASTED $35.00!!!

HOW R U???? I haven't talked to ya in a while! Hope all is well!

Nah, for real though, I did it for 9 days and felt GREAT!! It does work. My step-dad has been on it for 2-3 months now and looks GREAT, I actually told him to stop cause if he lost anymore he would look sickly. I didn't stick to it cause I had no willpower at the moment.

My mom makes me the cauliflower mashed potatoes and they are GOOOOOOOD! I didn't like cauliflower, but it makes u think u eatin REAL mashed potatoes. I'm doin Atkins so I like it even more, it's like playin tricks on my mind and she uses soy milk for me too, VERY little though.

Good luck!!!!

ps: I never bought anything though, that's y I said u wasted your money. I just did a lot of searches on the net and found all the info I needed. I LOVE usin search engines, I always find what I need!

pss: came back to say that the reason people fail once they go off the "diet" is cause they most likely start eating stuff they shouldn't be. You STILL have to watch what u do and eat to maintain, weight loss is never permanent unless u still keep workin at it.

Good luck! I think quite a few people here are on the South Beach Diet. I just started Atkins on Monday. It hasn't been that bad, but watching a tv program where they were eating chocolate pudding made it really HARD! I had to walk away from the tv!!

Goodluck!!
