I have been on and off Phentermine for awhile. The first time around I did pretty good on it...not as well as many but still pretty o.k. It did a good job controlling my appetite. I lost maybe 8-10lbs on it. I was on it for about awhile and it stopped working. I then took Adipex (which although is the same as Phentermine is released in differently) and I had very slight results from it, nothing that taking over the counter Xenadrine wouldn't do for me. I stopped everything completely for several months. I gained weight and decided to try the Phentermine again, and still had no results. I am about 35lbs overweight and it is extremely hard for me to loose. Even when working out full-time, the fat still remains in all the trouble areas. Are there any other medications that any of you have tried aside from Phentermine that have worked for you? I am hungry pretty much all the time and rarely feel full even after eating an entire meal. I had thought about Xenical but am sorta scared of the sides from it.

DON'T LET THE DRUGS CONSUME YA!!!!

My suggestion is switch up your workout, or your diet plan.

Sometimes your body gets used to your current environment and gets comfy there. U need to kick it in the *ss and get it goin again.

Try to change your meals up, or maybe jog longer, or start lifting weights. Something like that, be creative. Every now and then switch it up again so that u don't give your body the chance to plateau!

    Good luck!!!

If you are "hungry pretty much all the time", "not full even after a full meal", and "working out pretty much full time", then something is not balancing in this equation.

Time for a diary/journal. For 3-5 days, write down what you eat, when you eat it, how much of it you ate, how hungry you were when you started to eat it, and saisfied/not satisfied you were afterwards. Try using a 1-5 scale for the hungry/satisfied items.

Then write down your exercise; again, what you did, how long you did it, how fast you did it (if that's a factor).

Could be a brain/body disconnect; could even be the sign of something physically amiss. We might be able to help, given more details.

Meantime, good luck - and don't take phen if you aren't noticing it supresses your appetite.
