Gee, not sure on this one. Maybe it's not as scary as it sounds though, think about what the other 91 lbs is made up of, muscle, tissue, etc.

    Can someone help???????????????????

My brother (who is 17) wanted to take weights in school, but they wouldn't let him because his body fat was so low...he eats like a horse, doesn't work out and has almost no body fat - where is the fairness in THAT?!?!

I don't see how that can be accurate (sp?). How could you only have so few lbs to go, and not be closer to a more healthy body fat???? I've never taken a body fat test, but I thought I was around 32% and I need to lose like 50 lbs. There's this machine at the gym that can get on to find my #, but I'm alittle intimidated to do it because it takes longer to change than the scales. But I've been meaning to chuck those scales anyway.

Don't get discoraged, you've done great so far!!

hmm I'm not sure about this one either...I'm currently at 28% body fat and my doc said I need to get it down to 24% or lower.

I just did this calculator on biofitness.com and it says my body fat is 30.7% and a healthy body fat is 21%...who knows. I know I have "extra" fat because I still have a "baby belly" from my daughter and my thighs are like jello.

Once a month my personal trainer uses the calipers and does a body fat percentage. The capilers are hooked up to their computer, so I know the results are accurate. At the end of June my body fat was 32.1% and I currently weight 232. I know for a fact I've gained a lot of muscle, even though I still have weight to lost (BTW I'm a size 14/16). Each body is different.

If you belong to a gym, have them do a body fat measurement for you.
