    Hi Again Everyone!
I was wondering if y'all could tell me the basic plan you use for your weight loss. Do you count calories, use a high protein low carb diet, sugar-free or none of the above? I notice most of you talk of exercising....how much and how often? And water...is a gallon the norm? Thanks for the info. Don't ya just hate us newbies? lol

here's an overview of what I did.
    1200-1800 cal keep a journal
exercise 5-7 days a week 20-90 minutes a day depending on my mood but, never less than 20 min.
    both cadio and weight training.
    ate clean unprocessed foods.
    PORTION CONTROL!
    waaayyyyyy less sugar!
About a gallon of water a day. Took me about a year to lose 100 pounds, that was about 7 years ago when I reached my goal for the first time. 125. For the past well....since than I've bounced between 125-140 but, never going beyond 140 in the past 7 years! I'm most comfortable at 130.

Hi , glad to meet you. Im fairly new myself. Only been about 12 days on Phen. I have lost 10 pounds so far. Only things I am doing now is watching my portions. drinking all the water I can handle. I dont know how much it is I just drink it all day long. I keep it beside me wherever I am so that if I get thirsty I wont run to the fridge to get something to drink that has sugar in it. I went from drinking about 3 bottles of mountain dew or dr pepper a day to none what so ever. I had one in the last 12 days. I dont necessarily have a exercise routine but I do have an upstairs to my apartment....so what I do is, all day long I'll find reasons to climb the stairs. I bet I make 50 trips up them a day. I try stay away from fattening foods. I have 3 kids also so I get lots of running around all day long. I stay busy or on the road so I dont really dont have time for a particular workout. Thats why anytime I can Ill come up stairs lol. Hey it works I wish you good luck and keep me mosted on how your doing.

Hi - I have been on phen for 2 weeks - I am down 9 lbs! I lost 40 pounds a couple years ago on WW, I am doing WW agaon, but with phen, too. The points system is really easy for me, and I write all my points in my palm pilot, which I have with me all the time. I also have food and restaurant points lists in it. Makes it really easy to stay on track! I lift weights twice a week for about 40 minutes, take 2 hour long cardio classes, and do 30 minutes cardio 2 other days a week, usually with my sister, so I consider that more of a social outing! Plus I drink TONS of water

Hiya and welcome!! I just started on the phen yesterday. I drank 4 16oz glasses of water...that was tough. I'm a diet coke freak..water just tastes so...watery.

I'm cutting my portions and trying to cut back on sweets, altho with the phen I don't seem to crave sweets (it was like that when I was on phen years ago). I don't want to completely alter my eating habits, like cutting out all carbs or all fat, as I have a family to cook for..and there's just no way I could stick to that. I know myself better than that..the more I restrict myself..the more I want something. So just teaching myself to eat less and more appropriate foods seems the best way for me.

Exercise..ARGH! I KNOW I have to move..but it's so boring. I plan on walking twice a day..see the word "plan"..I'm such a slug, hopefully I can get in the habit.

And I'm going to check into some of the videos the people in here have mentioned.

Good Luck and keep us posted!!

Alrighty...thanks so much to all of you for sharing. I think the exercise will be the most difficult part for me. I exercise daily (ok...maybe not every single day lol)...and I'm used to watching my food intake. I can't wait till my Phen gets here. Hopefully tomorrow <waiting patiently...can't ya tell? lol>. I always drink water..although not that much. I'll have to keep a big glass filled all the time to encourage myself to drink. You have all made me feel very welcome and I really appreciate that!!
