Everyone loses weight at a different rate. I know it's hard, but don't compare yourself to others. I find myself doing that all the time and it can be discouraging. Focus on the fact that you have lost 7 pounds and will lose more! As long as you are exercising...working off more than you eat you will loose weight. I read in a magazine recently that if you want to maintain your weight and stay in shape exercise 3-4 times a week. If you want to loose weight exercise 5-6 times a week. Goodluck. You can do it

How about 6-7 days a week 30-45 minutes of aerobic exercise.

Cool
It looks like you are doing real good. At least you are losing weight, right!!! Maybe you could increase your exercise like the others suggested or maybe you could try Atkins. I have been on atkins since May 28, not as faithfull as I was at first. But I have not gained any weight and when I want to jump start my weigh loss I just go back to the induction phase and usually I lose around 7 pounds the first week. If you are interested in atkins, just go and check out there website. All the info is there @ atkins.com. Plus remember what everyone says, "they slower the weight loss the more permanent it is" Good Luck

You are doing well! I was on phen for 3 weeks and lost 6lbs. Have you noticed a difference in your clothing? I know for me I was unhappy with the scale, but one day I had tried on a pair of pants that didn't even fit me a few weeks before and now I was now able to wear them and it was even loose....made me feel great!
I ate alot of fruits, protein and veggies, cut out complex carbs and starches...I also stayed away from frozen entrees...some may have too much sodium in them.
I tried to run 1 1/2-2 miles 3-4x a day.
Good Luck!

You are doing just fine, girl! Don't be discouraged. I could not run without passing out on the street and making a fool of myself, but I have done the "Walking Away the Pounds" 3 mile program and really sweat. And no one sees me! It is a real workout, takes about 45 minutes or so in the morning before I shower. When I do that 3 times a week (besides weight training at the gym 3 times a week(, I see real progress. When I get lazy with the cardio stuff, my weight loss suffers. It sounds like you are eatting the right stuff. How about writing down everything you eat in case you maybe pick stuff up without even being aware of it? Hang in here!

Hmm,

Here is my take, first, most of these big weight losses are mostly water the first few weeks, especially people who are on Atkins.

Maybe you have not lost water, but just fat. 7 pounds in 3 weeks is about right if it's not water. Does your scale measure body fat. That is really the key...right?

And remember, 7 pounds is a lot of weight.

Cheers,

Beth

If you've kept that up for 3 weeks you're doing great! I say keep doing it and your results will definately come. Remember, sometimes you have to give your body time to adjust to it's new food intake and exercise. Lots of body changes going on there!! Keep it up! VERY proud of you!
