What color and strength Phen is everyone taking?

I can't figure out what kind I have. I got Phen from my doctor and the pill is yellow 30mg. It has a weird symbol on the pill that looks like an 'E' and then the numbers 647. Is this a generic? The name on the label from the pharmacist says Phentermine, but I can't identify it with the pictures that are available on this site. They seem to be working but just curious...have only been on it for 2 days now. Also, I only paid $33.01 for the prescription as I found out that insurance will not pay for it. Why are the amounts so much higher on the internet? Did I not get the real thing?

Thank you Blaze! You are right I have the generic. I sure hope that it works the same. The website said that there were slight differences but did not elaborate on those differences. I'm on my 2nd day and I don't have quite the dry mouth that I did yesterday...I sure hope that doesn't mean it's not working?

MADDIESMOM...I THINK THE PRICES ARE HIGHER ON THE INTERNET BECAUSE OF THE DOCTORS FEE...THEY SAY IT IS A "FREE CONSULTATION" BUT I AM SURE THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY SOME WAY. I SAW A WEIGHT DOCTOR AND HIS VISIT WAS $60 FOR FIRST VISIT AND THEN $45 FOR THE REST OF THEM...THEN TO FILL THE MEDS WAS ABOUT $48 A MONTH...SO IF YOU KINDA ADD EVERYTHING UP..IT PROBLY AVERAGES OUT IN THE END...THAT'S MY OPINION AT LEAST..BUT REST ASSURED I AM SURE YOU GOT THE RIGHT THING...AND I AM SURE YOU WILL DO GREAT ON IT...

My sister used the same 30mg that you received and is having awesome results, mine is the capsule 30mg that is clear with the white and blue dots inside capsule, but its all the same. Almost everything out there these days are generic. It works great though. Keep a journal of all your side effects and feelings throughout the next couple of months. I am sure that the lack of dry mouth is not such a BAD thing. Some lucky ones dont get it at all.
