I was just wondering how many kids everyone has and how far apart are they from one another??? I currently have 21 month old little boy and I can't tell you how many times I am asked"when are you having another one", "isn't it time to have another one", "you are not only have 1 kid are you", "Please tell me that you are not going to let your little boy grow up as an only child" PLEASE people leave me alone I will have another child when I'M darn good and ready too!!!! Just wondering what everyone elses thoughts are on this issue!!

HAHA....same here....I have just one..a son who just turned 2 back in Aug. My sons name is Brendan and when I take him or go to pick him up there always asking me when theres gonna be a Brenda...and that I need to have another baby...Grrrrr...I hate it cause there gonna jinx me...I just know it...lol

I have 1 girl. she is 5, will be six in march. i dont plan on having another until i hit the lottery, or find a rich man.. whichever comes first. LOL.. i was lucky enough to come from a family with alot of money so my parents gave us everything. I do the same for my daughter, and i feel if i were to have another now, i wouldnt be able to give like my parents did. so i guess ill wait patiently, for Mr. money bags, or some lottery winnings

I have 2 beautiful girls. They are 8 and 5. 3 years and 23 days apart. I got the same questions between the two. AND now that I am loosing weight, I am starting to get it again,"when is the next one?" SORRY this is it for me!!! I finally got my house to myself during the day, this year both of them are in school. I am still excited everyday to drop them off at school! and of course to see them at the end of the day!
I feel that you need to take your time. When you are ready for another, you will be ready, whether it it is in a few months, a few years or maybe this is it for you.

I think it is your decision as to when you are ready for another or if you want one or not. Dont let people bully you into something that you know is not right for you. I personally have 3 children and to be completly honest with you none of them were planned pregnancies. I got pregnant with my daughter who is 10 and a half now when I was 17. Then 22 months later had my son who is now 8 soon to be 9 in Jan. Then 3 and a half years later I had my youngest daugter who is now 4. It is hrd raising kids and after my last unplanned pregnancy I said I cant do this again. I had my tubes tied at 24 years old. Alot of people tried to talk me out of it but I knew that I would never get out of my bad marriage if I kept popping out babies. I had to do what was right for me and the 3 kids I already had. Next time someone says that to you politely lookthem in the eyes and say "When you pay for their 18 years of life and college" That will shut them up.

I have one beautiful seven-year-old son and have been asked that question are you going to have more and when? My answer (because we do have fertility issues) is that I would have twelve kids if I could, but I can't, so I teach. That is so true in my life. Those kids really do become part of my family and I don't know if I would have the richness at work and the richness at home if I had more than one child. I'll be thirty in January (my son was born on my 22nd birthday!) and we have been talking about foster parenting, or adoption, or some more aggressive means of fertility stuff, but then I wake up and I think, thirty? diapers? no sleep? by the time our son is ready to go to college we'll only be 40? ...huuummmm...? So who knows!
