Lost Weight: 33 pounds gone!
Current Weight: 182 sw
Goal Weight: 140
I have been doing so good since I started my Phen three weeks ago. My fear is that I will not reach the goal I had set for myself personally for my fiance's college graduation on May 12th. I have 11 pounds to go to reach 175 pounds. So what I am asking of you all is to give me any and all advice on eating or exercise!! I am working out or walk/jogging everyday, drinking my water, eating my calories (1000-1200), and tracking my every bite on fitday. Is 11 pounds in 20 days realistic? Please tell me it is!! Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

Lost Weight: at one time almost 40 pounds...but it\'s all back now
Current Weight: 174...sadly. I was down to 135.
Goal Weight: 135 was my original goal...met it in June 2002 now I\'m going for it again.
RaeAnn,

I hope you'll focus on the fact that you've been so successful..that said I know you'd like to have more success...so would I!!

I'm no expert and don't usually recommend fad diets...but did you try that 3 day diet? It didn't work for me, but it did for others. You might hang in there for another week or so because you seem to be doing everything right!! You have been working so hard and it will pay off eventually. Maybe hanging in there for another week or so and then try one of these fad diets...even if you ended up gaining half of it back with in a week...you'd have met your goal by the day of...I don't know if this will work...but maybe its worth a shot.

That's all I've got in my magic hat...not very magical huh?

Good luck to you!!

I'm pretty new to this to, but it sounds like you are doing all the right stuff to me!

Keep up the hard work and it will come off, try not to be a total slave to the scale

I'm sure he will see differences in you even if you aren't quite where you want to be yet. Maybe your clothes fit better, your face shines a little more(thanks to all the water),and you hold your head higher.
You should be proud!!!!
When we feel good, we look good!!!!
You can do this just be patient and do the best you can Good Luck!!!!

Rae Ann, congrats on your loss so far. But in all honesty, here's the way it adds up, to lose 11 lbs. in 21 days is about a half-pound a day, or 1800 calories each day that you have to cut out of your food intake/add to your exercise to lose that amount so quickly.

By cutting your calories down to 1000-1200, you're at a bare minimum. Let's say that's about 600 calories less than you need to maintain your weight. That means you'd need to exercise off another 1200 calories a day to lose a half-pound a day. At such a low calorie intake, you probably wouldn't have the strength to do this; and your body would probably adjust to the extra load by slowing down your loss to protect itself.

Please be proud of yourself & your success, I'm sure your fiance is! Make choices that will keep you healthy, OK?
