Question
Hello everyone,
I remember reading about some exercise tapes that alot of members use, but I cannot remember the name of them. I have been reviewing previous posts, but have not been able to find it. Does anyone happen to remember what I'm talking about?
Thanks...

I don't know about the post you are talking about but here are mine:

My work-out videos:

1. I Want That/Those Series, by Tamilee Webb: This series is great for toning. It is a series of 4 tapes, IWT-Abs, IWT-Buns, IWT-Arms, and IWT-Body. Each tape has two 15-min work outs...one basic & one advance. She tested all the moves in the lab with a EMG to find out what works best...this is an awesome series.
2. Tae-bo, by Billy Blanks (any advanced tape…but if new, start w/basic & work up): I attribute most of my earlier success to Tae-bo. These 1 hour advanced tapes are awesome...they are very intense but well worth it. I don't know where but I remember reading that you can lose up to 800 calories per hour w/those kinds of TB work outs. It is great for balance, strength, and killer for the waist & hips
3. Strength & Grace, by Minna Lessig: This is a great yoga workout. I sweat a lot and still have that flexed out feeling when I'm done. I like this work out...especially on Saturdays or Sundays when I want a good work out without feeling tired all day.
4. Power Yoga, by Denise Austin: This is another great yoga work out. It has 2 twenty min sections. The first is straight up easy flexability yoga. The second is more Pillates inspired and is more toward toning.

I can tell you what I use - I do at least 2 tape routines 6 days a week so this is what I alternate:

1. Denise Austin "Bounce Back after Baby" - it combines a warm up, 20 minutes of low impact aerobics, followed by 15 minutes of toning, cool down/yoga. I have had incredible results with this workout. I have recommended it even to friends who haven't had children because it's a great tape overall. After doing this tape 3 times a week for 2 weeks, I lost 2 inches from my waist, one inch from my thighs, and one inch from my baby belly roll on my stomach. I do this tape at least twice a week. I do supplement it with additional abdominal exercise because that is my weak area.

2. I use the Tamilee Webb "I Want That/Those" series. I do the arms every other day with handweights, I do the abs every day, and rotate the buns/body tapes into my workouts. As Wicca said, they are excellent toning tapes, easy to follow, and they each include a basic and advanced workout so you won't grow tired of them or surpass them quickly.

3. I rotate in other tapes for additional cardio. I check them out from the library and some great starter tapes are "Latin Rhthym dance moves" by Kathy Smith (fun, low-impact workout - especially if you do the entire 40 minute tape) or Beginning Tae Bo (make sure you have the form down so you don't hurt your knees). I like to have some variety so I get different tapes each week and then buy the ones that I know I want to use over and over. That is how I found the Tamilee Webb series and I do at least 2 of the routines every day.
