i'm sick!

well after waiting in the doctors office for 3 hours because my regular doctor is on vacation and i had to be a walk in, i found out i have bronchitis. i had a fever of 103 and didn't even know it. he put me on 3 differant medications and told me to get some rest. i told him i'm a mom and we don't get sick days. i am going to take it easy as soon as i take michelle to cheerleading practice. so if i'm not around much the next few days you'll know why.

Ugh, I know how you feel! I had bronchitis a few months ago, and I was down for over a week. It was awful.

Take good care of yourself and force those fluids. They are so important, especially when taking a lot of medication.

Hope you are feeling like your old self again soon!

Its tough being sick when you have young ones to take care of. If i get sick my husband takes a day or so off work to help out...could your husband do that? you will recover faster if you get the rest you need.

thanks everybody! i just got back from cheerleading practice and took my cough syrup with codine in it so i'm going to make a bed on the couch and try and get some rest. i am drinking even more water than normal to help break up the congestion. dawn i wish my husband could come home and help out but he's in new jersey. he drives a truck and won't be back until sunday. it won't be that bad because i have a wonderful daughter who has promised to take care of her brother and help me out. luckily she is old enough (11) to feed her brother (4) and make sure he doesn't kill himself trying to play superman and jumping off his dresser. he is old enough to understand mommy is sick and he needs to be extra good. well either that or i'm going to be so spaced out on cough syrup nothing will bother me. if it gets to bad i can always ask my mom to keep them. i really appreciate all your kind words. thanks! going to try and post a little before the codine kicks in.

I feel for ya...must be something in the air. I have been sick for 3 weeks with bronchitis and still coughing and barking like a dog. I tried to rest but if I do a day the house looks like a tornado went through it.

You got the good stuff though, my reg. doc gives me the cough syrup with codeine but the ER doc gave me just erymycin which I was allergic too so now I just started something else. That was probably why I am still sick.

Pass some of that codeine this way girl
