    I was wondering to all that are willing would tell me how much weight they lost how long it has taken them and what you all have done to achieve it..help keep me positive cause so far on day 3 still feel the same

    I lost 8 lbs overnite the first day?...Water Im sure...Its been about three weeks for me and Ive lost 21 lbs...slimfast,slimfast,early small dinner..Weight lift 3 days a week about a half hour...
    I play golf just to bug my wife.She thinks I'm having fun!

    It releases happy chemicals from your brain.Gives some energy for encouragment,and suppresses....The energy will most likely taper off as you become tolerant to it...Thats why alot will take a week or two break and then continue back on the phen.

    Its not a magic pill....Just a tool to help...I just finally made up my mind to lose weight.Last year I quit smoking ...went from 3 packs a day to nothing....I used patches and a support group...What dosage are you taking? I take a 37.5 in the morning and a half of one in the afternoon...Now I got some Phendimetrazine and im taking it exsclusivly to take a break from the phen.You have to eat and eat "right" and exersize,and drink lots of water.....

    taking 30 mg...i know al about the exersize diet thingy i originally lost 80lbs just on that then gained 40 when i got married lost 30 then gained 15 when the navy put me on the shut up drug ...like how i made it clear to the doc about my weight and he still put me on that crap...i worked all summer to try and loose it didn't work...i've only been on for 3 days so granted give it time but damn...feeling a bit aggitated

    Is your hunger being suppressed?...I know alot of times I'll root around for something to eat just because Im bored...I keep carrotts and veggies and grab those first...just to munch on something...If the hunger isnt being suppressed maybe do like I did and take a half of one in the afternoon.....Or maybe start out with one and a half? Id give it a few more days though...try taking on an empty stomach with lots of water...I know I took a Phen of a freind of mines last year for the first time and It hit me like a rocket....I got my script this year and its not that intense?...and the effects of energy have almost totaly gone away after just 2 weeks for me..I have a very high tolerance to drugs as it is..I took two of the 37.5's and it didnt make a difference either...but my appetite is suppressed..I guess thats the important par..

    no the hunger is still there...the hunger vs boredom thing i snipped in the bud awhile ago if i go to the fridge i ask myself are you hungry or bored..usually if i'm a little hungry and have a craving i'll eat a piece of hard candy or what ever..

    Rachel,
    Talk to your doctor about antideppresants (sp). Number one, they will help with the weight and it seems that you are having a tough time with the yo-yo thing. Like Airic said, it is a tool and it sounds like you need a little help getting your attitude right. I got on both Phen and Paxil and I have lost almost 40 lbs. in 2 months. I do atkin's and get to eat whenever I want. There are alot of great diets out there. Pick the one that fis your lifestyle!

    fatboy..actually the doc put me on paxil and i gained 15 lbs..i personally am a ferm believer in balance..cause your body needs certain things...but when on an actual diet diet i go for more vegetables green ones and a few of the starchy ones..just love em..

    Hi again Rachel...enjoyed our short chat the other night.

    I began phen on Jan. 21 at 167...the second week in June I'd gotten to 133, past my and my dr's original goal. Since then I've gone back and forth between it and 137 or so. I'd like to lose a few more, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I'm now just focused on staying fit.

    Exercise: I began walking and lifting weights within the 2nd week of taking phen. I had asthma so the most I could do without needing the inhaler was 10 minutes or so. In July I decided I'd try running again-ran in highschool. Ran a 5K on August 31st. By the 4th week into my running training program I didn't need my inhaler anymore...I RARELY use it now-just for seasonal allergy stuff. I've now gotten into pilates and yoga a bit. With the pilates I've taken an inch off my lower abs in less than 3 weeks...though my weight has remained the same.

    Diet: I did weight watchers for the most part. I entered my foods into fitday dot com on a daily basis. I ate an average of 1000 cals a day 6 days a week and then the 7th day I had "free day." I ate pretty much whatever I wanted that day. Usually 2500 cals or so. It made the rest of the week so much easier to get through. I think if I'd done that without exercise I wouldn't have been successful...exercise was the key.

    I found that by week 5 or so the phen wasn't as strong for me. I started skipping one to 2 days a week...usually my free day and then another day when I knew I'd be busy and not have access to much food. I packed my lunch and snacks for the most part.

    I drank a minimum of 6 glasses of water. I now drink a bit more, but during my weightloss...6 was enough.

    Hello there. I used to weigh 278lbs...lost 78 without phen, that was over a years time..only took that long because I did not exercise. I started phen a month ago at 200lbs, and now weigh 180lbs, my goal weight is 140. I exercise alot now, and drink my water. You can do, I know it gets tough sometimes, but hang in there, it's worth it!

    Hi Rachel!

    I was on Phen for 6 months and took a total of 5 months worth of pills and lost 44 pounds! That was with little to no exercise! I know that's bad BUT I just hated to exercise!! I did drink a TON of water and that helped a lot and I did the Carbohydrates Addicts Diet. I really like that diet it wasn't even like a diet anymore. But then I found out I was pregnant so No more Phen or dieting! But VERY HAPPY to be pregnant!

    I seem to have lost weight a little slower, but consistantly. I started on June 19 and have lost about 20 lbs. so far. I have 8 to go before I reach my goal.

    I am happy because I still eat all of my favorite food, I just snack less often and I gave up my nightly bottle of wine. I still imbibe once a week or so -- that is ok with me.

    I've always exercised and still do. I think you can exercise like a mad dog and still gain weight if you eat and drink too much. That's what I did.

    Don't worry if it doesn't come off quickly -- it will if you are changing some bad habits. You don't have to do diet to an extreme to lose weight, it may just not come off as quickly.

    Haaaaaaaang in there!

    I've lost a total of 56 pounds since starting on January 9, 2002.

    Drinking water, exercise and learning why you eat what you do (other than "it tastes good and I want it") wer the key for me. I realized I am an over eater simply because my exercise level when I was a teen required high calorie intake, then my exercise dropped and my intake didn't. Add to that being a boredom eater and you get fat.....quickly.

    So now I am in the process of turning that all around. It's work, but I keep telling myself it is worth it.
    Inch by inch, pound by pound, gonna get this body down!

    I've lost 20 pounds in a month but I'm a fast loser and I retain a lot of water when I don't watch what I eat.

    Speaking of water, I drink a ton as well. I'm sure I will not see another month's loss like that but I'll keep working on it.
    A child's face can say so much.......especially the mouth part of the face.

    I lost 95 pounds in about 5 months. I know way to fast but I have kept it off for 2years and I also payed a high price my hair fell out. any ways the key was water water water and exercise exercise exercise.

    thanks to everyone for all the feedback...I have my bad days...latly they more frequent..i'm not a real patient person...I just ahve to keep telling myself to keep plugging away and it's a whole lot easier to do when hubby is on patrol..I just got Denise Austins' Slide Glide thingy at ebay and I loved that thing when I first had it It helped me loose the first 30 lbs when I started my journey cause it really focus on my target areas..plus I read that phen may cause constipation and in consideration I probaly have IBS not that any of you need to know that it doesn't help so that may be it..but even though I really haven't noticed the hunger supresion my hubby said he did ...he took me out to azteca the other night as a late b-day thing..and even though to me it seemed I ate alot hubby said i didn't and even last night with the spaghetti it was the same thing..he's not one to lie either we both make every effort to honest with each other even if it is brutal...neither one of us believe in placation or anything like that..it doesn't help anyone...i tried that flavored water the other day and man it tastes like crap...

    ah Racheal if it was only that easy. gosh, first time i lost 45 in 2 months it felt like. it just melted off. i wasnt working, i had time to workout twice a day and i really logged and followed a great food plan. ~ it was probably more like 4 months / but, it was fast. then, progressively, i went back to work, i fell into no time habits and well gained back like 22. so ole friend phen again helped and that time was slower. now, back again, and well, its maintaince more but, totally, i use phen when i need to lose the excess from life habits that i can seem to connect over to never gona gain it back. totally, thats for me not real, so my phen stays close for when i need to get it off once again. ~ yes. i eat better, know better now for habits, but, being short. its just gona come on me. ~ is my thoughts,,, ~ good luck to you. ( and me. lol. ) ~

    pjb..are you saying that it's not easy to loose when hubby is on patrol...well for some it isn't but for me it is...cause i don't have to do alot of things i usually do when he's here..like make fatty *** diners or get up at 0530..and work out however i want when ever i want and not have him there saying your doing it wrong...

    Hello,
    I started phen on 6?6?02 at 162 lbs and Im now at 129 !! I really do like it, although I do feel like Im kind of "used to" the phen (I dont get the buzz or big boost of energy that I used to. I have been excercising regualrly too, and the inches I have lost are super!! Im into a size 5!! from a tight 9/10!!
