    I use w e b m d dot c o m. I like that one because it tells you how many calories to eat per day to reach your goal. Another good one is f i t d a y d o t c o m. I hope this will help. Holly

    www.calorieking.com

It is full of tools, tips, tricks, and has the biggest food diary on the web that is free. There are recipes, forums, quizes, profiles, weight graphs and charts, and the diary is awesome. You can customize it to show what ever nutrient contents you want. And the exercise log is exstensive. You can even log the times you sleep, watch tv, clean, ect as your daily exercises.
www.fitday.com is the second. It has graphs and things. The site is somewhat bulky looking.
www.*****.com I do like, but it takes some navigation around the site to get to all the tools. With these previous 2, once you log to the site, everything you need is right at your fingertips.

Thanks for welcoming me Goofy Girl! That's what I call my girls all the time, they are 5 and 7 and they are going through that giggly stage...but I guess that will probably last for a while. I haven't been here that long, but unfortunately have been fighting "the battle of the bulge" all my life. I have three children, the two girls and a 9 month old boy. I gain enourmous amounts of weight every time I get pregnant. I had just gotten back to 135 pounds and was wearing a size 6 when I got pregnant with my son. I ended up at 210-AGAIN.
So anyway here I am I will not be getting pregnant again, so hopefully this will be the last time I have to lose this much weight, but I know that I will always have to watch what I eat and exercise.
If you want we can exchange emails, if not I will be looking out for your posts.
Thanks again and have a great day!

    Bienvenidos!! Welcome!!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents....I like fitday....a lot actually!! The thing I like most is that if you can't find the food you are looking for you can take info straight from your package of food and put it in. I have also found that it tends to overestimate by 3-10 calories on almost everything, which to me is great...I'd rather over estimate by just a little, than underestimate. These are just a few reasons why I like it...hope you do too.

Thanks for sharing, I am also concerned about your calorie intake. You really need to eat more. Just try to eat some fruit or salad-or SOMETHING! You will slow your metabolism down, and as I'm sure you know, that is not a good thing. It may be tempting to not eat with the phen, and you may lose a lot of weight quickly at first, but it will make it so much harder to lose later on. Even if you were able to continue this way and lose all of your excess weight at this calorie level you will gain it all back very quickly when you start to eat "normal" amounts of food again.
Try to remind yourself to eat something every few hours to keep your metabolism going and try to get some exercise that will give it a boost for hours.
I don't want to sound like a nag, I am really just trying to help.

HollyDolly, you don't sound like a nag...I am in absolute agreement with you. I am trying to eat more, I really am. I probably will want to eat more once my body gets used to the Phen.
    Thanks for the advice!

    HollyDolly!
Hi there! I notice you said you use w e b m d . c o m, stating that it calculates and tells you what you need to do to burn calories. Where on that site do I find that info? I signed up after I read your post, so far, I dont like that its telling me that my goal weight ISNT obtainable in a year! (138lb loss) It tells me 1.5 is best, but im thinking that 2.8 a week wouldnt be to bad. Anyhow, if you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it!

Edited becasue I meant to say ISNT and had is typed in! (oopsie!)

    Hey Wildheart!
I meant that it will tell you how many calories per day you can eat per day to reach your goal. If you enter what you ate for the day and the exercises and other activities you have done it will come up with a "net calories" number, which is your
calories eaten - basal metabolic rate-calories expended through activities = net calories this should be a negative number to lose weight. Knowing that each pound of fat takes a 3500 calorie deficit, it kind of keeps you on track throughout the week. So far, it is has been pretty accurate.
It also has an exercise progress chart for the week. When you enter what you have done, go to reports and it tells you what percentage of the total weekly exercise you have completed.
As for the goal weight, it will only allow you to set your goal for 1.5 pounds per week, but you will know that you need to do more exercise and eat a little less to make 2 pounds per week.
    Good luck! Holly

HollyDolly, is there any way that you can post the exact link to the place that you are talking about? I tried searching through Web MD and found nothing!

Please advise when you get a chance! Thanks!
