okay.. im sitting here at work and damn Im hungry. I WANT A CHEESEBURGER AND FRIES FROM WENDYS!!!!! please help me... I cant eat that!! PLEASE someone tell me how bad it is... Let me admit that AF is visiting .. She hasnt came around since October because I was on depo provera. Im off, so shes back now... Is this HER doing? HELLLPPPP

Stop! Get that Wendy person outta your head! She's bad! She's evil! She plays tricks with your hips! Just picture one of those burgers dripping oily, slimy grease from the side with mushy bread... Okay, if that doesn't work (!) replace those food thoughts with something else. Picture yourself at your goal weight. There is a site somewhere on the net where you plug in your weight, height, measurements, hair color, etc. and it shows you a general picture of yourself. Then you plug in a lower weight and it shows how you'll look. It's a great motivator. Drink a large gulp of ice cold H2O and keep your hands busy. (I started cross stitching again so that I coulnd't always grab food.) You can do it!!!!

Sounds like some great advice.... I'm interested in that site you were talkin about. I'm all for seeing what other people see me as, as that might get me off my rear end and back on my bike and out the door again... Just started back on the phen and it's not going so well. Not like i thought it would.

Now contrary to what everyone says...Wendy isn't all that bad!! You can't ban fast food forever. Very, very few of us have that kind of will power. My solution is to have Wendy's...but have a kids meal. Its just the right portion amount...and enough to satisfy that craving!!

Denying your cravings always and completely will make it that much harder to maintain your weight when you reach goal. You've got to be able to balance the healthy with the not so healthy. So you have a burger for lunch? Eat a salad for dinner. Or something else super, super light.

Well...probably not what you were looking for, but there it is anyway!!

I'd say go ahead and get it... if you deprive yourself, you make things worse so that you're more likely to reward yourself tomorrow or the next day by ravenously eating anything you can get at Wendy's.

But get the junior meal, you know, whatever the kids hamburger and small fries is at Wendy's. Or if you have to get one of the large burgers, cut it in half, and get rid of the other half somehow. It's equally wasted if you eat it but don't need it or if you throw it away.

The former method has been working really well for me. I love stuff from Gordito Burrito (which if you speak any Spanish, you should be able to tell is a bad sign from the getgo), but it's pretty fattening. I get the kids bean burrito, so I still get the taste, take it home, put nonfat sour cream and a little guac on it, so I know how much of what I'm getting, and satisfy my fast food craving without destroying my diet.

thank you guys so much! I DID not eat Wendys.. I looked up the nutrition info on the internet and that along with your replies I didnt eat it. Instead I got an order of lemon chicken and shared it with the twins (they ate most of it)!! THANK YOU!
