Did I Scare the UPS Man?

I work really close to my house, so I go home for lunch. I've gotten pretty good at controling my eating habits, but when I'm at home for an hour for lunch, I 'graze' and that gets me in trouble. So, I started making my lunch, putting everything away and going out on the patio for some 'sunbathing'.

Well, today, I'm outside in my bathing suit, laying in my chair, eating a turkey roll up. Suddenly the dog goes bazonkers, and I see her run into the house and up on her chair by the window next to the front door. She's barking like mad, and isn't stopping! I was so startled, I jumped up, put down my Cooking Light and turkey roll up and ran to the front door to see my friendly neighboorhood UPS waiting with a package. I threw open the door and said "Hi!" and he joked that my dog was vicious (sp?). We laughed, I took the package and said thanks.

It wasn't until after I shut the door that I realized I WAS IN MY FREAKING BIKINI! Ok, that wasn't a big deal. I was actually proud of myself because it's OBVIOUS I am not ashamed of my body anymore and I love that!! I didn't even think twice about covering up!

Then I went around the corner and caught a glimpse of myself in the living room mirror.

I HAD A HUGE GLOB OF HONEY MUSTARD ON MY BOOB!!!!!!!

He must have thought, "Ewe, what a yucky slob she is!". Either that, or he thought I was into kinky backyard mustard wrestling or something!

Oh well! I bet UPS men have walked into a dozen different 'weird' situations!

Do you think I scared him???

I can just see your proud face strutting through the house as you think to yourself "I am not afraid of being seen in my bikini anymore" until you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror - HA HA.

AND the UPS guy is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!I mean he is GORGEOUS!!! He has jet black hair that is kinda wavy and he wears a little mousse in it and dark eyes and dark skin-and dimples,He looks Italian, oh my...HE IS A HOTTIE if there ever is one. Now, I am happily married, but when I know I am receiving a pkg, I make sure I'm dressed, hair is done, lipstick on...lol!!

Oh Sarah - that is a great story! It reminds me of the new beer commercials where the friends are telling embarassing stories

When I worked from home, the UPS guy was at my house at least twice a week so he got to see the best and the worst! One day I was nursing my baby when the doorbell rang and I knew I had to sign for the package. I answered the door with a blanket thrown over me and tried to sign with one hand while I held the baby nursing with the other arm. Just then, the baby pulled the blanket right down and that sweet UPS guy got the full on view of a milk engorged breast Then my sweet baby just grinned at him and started babbling while I was scrambling to cover myself. Luckily he is married with 5 daughters so he just laughed but I can only imagine how red my face was. I was embarassed every time he came to the door for the next month.

Gosh...there sure are a lot of UPS stories! Someone mentioned that her UPS man is gorgeous...in my experience almost all of them are! What is that about?!?! Maybe the short uniforms and tan!
