Wicca's Beach Pics...OK, all here now...skin pics and all

OK, Round one is more goofing off pics and not any that are especially good status pics of me. Those were mostly on my mom's camera and I forgot that disc at home So check back tomorrow for more pics

This one is of our campsite with the whole gang hanging out. From left to right (aunt Bev, me, mom, and her BF Pud...don't ask, it's a nickname)


This one is of my mom and me goofing off and doing Yoga poses...I'm the one in the back doing "Pose of the dancer" and my mom is doing "Warrior". We are out playing on what we call "The Point".


This one is of me being a dork. It was raining when we started out for "The Point"...the end of the island and the point is the huge sand bar(s) during low-tide. So anyway we were heading out and put on our rain gear about half way there it cleared up and got hot and it was really windy so we wrapped ourselves up so we wouldn't get blown away (and so our fanny pacs wouldn't get wet when we had to wade through water). We looked like complete idiots...but we were all alone so we didn't care. My aunt stayed at camp (which is waaayyyy down the coast in the pic) and we wanted to show her how stupid we looked so we took our "Post Card From the Edge" photos, LOL


These are two sunrise shots. My mom and I got up every morning and went down to watch the sun come up over the ocean. This was the best day...it was breath taking. In the first pic you can see stumps on the beach. This is where the beach used to be but due to hurricanes it has erroded away and this is what is left of the palms. The state will no longer allow see walls so the island is slowly washing away. The second pic was taken by my aunt and she didn't want the stumps (she thought they looked icky but my mom and I thought they added character and the reflection on the pools is beautiful).




Well, that's all for now. I'll add more when I get home tonight or tomorrow morning. I even promised Shirl and Kim a bikini shot

All the sunrises were beautiful but the pics just didn't do them justice but that morning As I said before...breath taking. We are going to blow one of those up and frame it as soon as we pic our fav.

Legs have always been an easy one for me...That's another thing I get from my mom and another is no waistline

Thanks for pointing out that pic Turbo I'm going to have to tell her she'll get a kick out of it, LOL. I told her years ago that they thought they'd just invented cloning but she invented it in 73'. I'm so much like her...in looks and personality

Del: The Tae-bo is definately working when I do it But it's good to know I look buff even when I've been a slacker, LOL.

Thanks again you all sorry it took me so stinkin' long to post them. For those who don't know...I came here in February and everbody has been hearing me talk about this "Beach Trip" forever, LOL. I finally got to go July 20-27th. And I'm just now getting around to sharing my pics, LOL.

You look great! Congrats on all your hard work and dedication. I have a question about your pictures though, I'm just confussed because you say "Sunrise" pictures but you're on the West Coast. Are they taken in a Bay facing East or something else? Just tryin' to figure it out, I've heard others mention the sunsets on the east coast, etc and I can't get it. All I know is that the sun rises in the East and sets in the West.

Meredith: TY Thankfully the tummy roll is my only "problem" area left but damn it could work with me a little, LOL. I did indeed work VERY hard to get there, lots and lots of exercise, mostly tae-bo and yoga. And I'm ready to finish it up now so I'm back in the exercise nut saddle again

Sea: LOL, Well what can I say...once I get to know someone I don't have a modest bone in my body It's the strangers I worry about, LOL. If you remember I was so stinkin' paranoid to wear that black bikini in public cause I thought it was too revealing Thanks for the kudos...I'm so picky on myself that I over analyze. When I saw those pics I was like...ok, little more work on the abs and I have GOT to learn how to smile when I pose like that, LOL. How in the world do ballerina's and figure skater's do it

Kai: Thank you Here's the answer to your sunrise question...Those pics were taken at Hunting Island in South Carolina on the east coast. I'm a California transplant. I was born and raised in Spencer, WV and I always go home twice a year to visit family. This year we decided to meet at the beach for a week of fun filled camping instead of my going back "home" Wanna hear a funny one though? I do have a pic of a gorgeous sunrise on the west coast though It was taken in Monterey, CA when my mom was visiting me. If you look at a map you'll see how it kind of curves there at the bay and the sun comes up over one of the peaks in the curve and shines beautifully on the coast...we even got a bird on a fly by in the pic. I'll have to post it sometime.

Blaze Thanks Stretch marks I'm trying not to think about them since hubby and I are going to try for a little one next year. I'm hoping I take after my mom and can avoid them...that and have hubby do the lotion on the belly thing (I figure it couldn't hurt and has to feel good, LOL)
