OK so I am trying to get rid of the blah's. I decided I needed a new me to go with my new attitude that I am trying to attain.

I am going tomorrow with this picture of this cute blonde hairstyle. Right now I tried to die my hair blonde at home so it is kinda erm half and half. gonna have the hair professionally died, then cut into the new sexy bob. It is Charisma Carpenter's new hairstyle on Angel if any of you watch that. It is so cute I hope it will work for me. I have thick thick wavy hair about collar length.

Then going to get my nails and eyebrows done and lord heavens wear makeup again. I figure this will make me feel better. I deserve something after all this hard work.

Anyways just an update and a thought for some of you. I am getting it done at a local cosmetology school. All together it will be about 25 dollars. Not bad and I might get a massage and pedicure while I am there

Have any of you done anything similar???

You have the right idea. Last week I got my hair chopped off. I have always had long hair but I decided to just cut it! I alway thought if I had short hair it would make my **** look bigger!

You know what I look cute! Yesterday I got crayon red streaks put in my hair, not crazy or anything...
It looks awesome! My friend Rus last night said to me, "youv'e rocked long hair for a long time but, I really like your hair like that!" and he is guy, and he doesn't ever comment about things like that.

Do it! you totaly deserve it. You might even be suprise by the way it makes you feel.

hey why can't I say that! Thats so weird. Ok my rear end. I always thought having shorter hair would make my rear end look bigger.

When i was heavier i really got into a way of thinking that there was no point having a nice haircut or wearing makeup or nice clothes because i just felt so unhappy with the way i looked. But since i lost over 30lbs and im halfway to where i want to be weight wise i always have my hair cut in a nice style, i change the color on a regular basis and i rarely leave the house without makeup. And i feel great about myself. I cant beleive i let myself go as much as i did when i was heavier. In retrospect i think heavy and well groomed would have looked a lot better than heavy and frumpy!
So....i think a makeover is a great idea....a wonderful reward for you for working hard on getting healthy and trim.

I also just had my hair chopped off, and I absolutely love it. It was long, but I never had the courage to try a shorter cut. I went in for a trim, the hairdresser told me I had the perfect shaped face that was needed for this cut she was dying to try on someone. I was going to be her guinnea pig. She promised me it would look great. It meant getting my hair cut right up to my neck, and it hasn't been that short in 21 years.
Anyway, I love it, it's full of natural body and wave. The natural body and wave were the reasons I was afraid of having it short because of the "wingy's" that were sure to develop.
Anyway, I urge anyone wanting a change, but hesitant to do it, to just do it!
Chances are good that you'll be happy you did. I know I am.

YOU GO GIRL!! It looks like I am the only one trying to grow my hair out. LOL I have always had short hair...you will love it! I know being heavy, sometimes we don't "fix" ourselves up because we feel that we are fat and ugly. But, I know the days that I actually take time to do my hair and makeup, I feel so much better about myself. Post us a pic of your new 'do

A few years ago my sister decided to have her eye-brows waxed. They they pulled the first one off. I thought she was having a heart attack! She looked so funny. She said she didnt want to get the second one done, not if hurts this bad! She had tears in her eyes! After a long wait she decided to get the second one done.As we were walking out the door she told me she would never never do that again! She told me if I get any more wild ideas, talk me out of it!

LOL Sammi!! Now that I am back to work I wear makeup everyday. I used to not wear it at all unless hubby was taking me to dinner for our anniv. People I know don't recognize me cuz of the makeup and the hair. I could use a Jenny Jones makeover too!!

Jenny Jones here I come. I got my hair chopped cannot expalain it but like it. I got my eyebrows waxed, and GULP even bought new lipstick. All for the grand total of 10 dollars.

Couldn't work in the manicure and stuff today too much to do and the students take longer doing stuff but I will.

I promise I will post some before/after pics once I figure it out. LOL

I am on my first day of phen again. I had started it last month only to be sad because bp problems made me stop after 2 days. I have more energy today but a slight dull headache all day.

Anyways see all you beauts later and I promise I will get those pics.

OH i hardly ever wear makeup anymore. I realized that before I was married and gained more weight I wouldn't leave the house to go to the mail without hair and makeup. Time for a personality makeover for me

If I could get a summer job now that school is out it would majorly help me a lot I think. See you all laters
