Question

I have not taken any vitamins for about 2 months now. I ran out and just kept forgetting to add it to my list. I finally remembered! I started taking them 3 days ago, and when I got on the scale this morning I was up a pound I have been excersizing, eating healthy, and as always drinking a ton of water. I don't understand this. I have heard that they can make you gain weight when you start them, but I ws wondering if this is true? Aunt flo left last week so I know that she is not the problem.

The vitamins can't be the source of your 1 lb. gain. Vitamins contain no calories (unless you happen to buy the kid's kind that have sugar in them). While it's true that deficiencies in certain vitamins hinder your various body processes from working effeciently, I'd say that there's no proof to the claim that any vitamins will actually make you lose weight, either.

Just my $0.02.

Lost Weight: at one time almost 40 pounds...but it\'s all back now
Current Weight: 174...sadly. I was down to 135.
Goal Weight: 135 was my original goal...met it in June 2002 now I\'m going for it again.
I've been taking vitamins off and on the whole time I've been losing weight. Been on phen off and on too the last 2 months. Haven't noticed any correlation between taking them and weightloss.

But...everyone is different...I'd check your label too and see what the ingredients are.

Good luck!
