Alcohol Phen and BP med - Phentermine.com

Question. I am back on phen now and hydrochlorothiazide for BP.

When I get to my first goal, I am doing this with a friend, we decided to go out to a local club wearing new outfits and dance etc. etc.

Is there any problem anyone knows with drinking with these meds. I cannot find anyhthing on the bottles or the brochures that says not to.

Just curious. Not planning on overindulging, but haven't been to a club in 2 years and I deserve one dachquiri or beer, lol. That will be all it takes.

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend. Mine will be filled with traffic seeing as I live at the beach. OI tourists! LOL

HCTZ is a diuretic (makes you pee). So is alcohol. Sooo - plan on spending more time in the 'loo. And drink more water to make up for the dehydration. Lots of folks say they're a cheap date on phen; the effects seem to be enhanced. I've only had three glasses of wine in the past three months, so I'm no expert.....

Hi! Not sure about the BP med with alcohol. But I drink on Phen. When I first started taking Phen the alcohol effects came A LOT quicker. But after about two weeks on Phen and it was in my system, I was no longer a cheap date. LOL

Go out, HAVE FUN and ENJOY a drink you should be just fine!

alcohol is ok with the phen, but check with the doc on the BP meds. Alcohol can raise your bp, but I don't know about any drug interaction with the hctz. Better yet, give your pharmacist a call-he/she would know better than the doc and you can get them on the phone quicker!
