    Question

Hey everyone! Well tonight was the night that I decided even though phen is working well for me, I probably need to find something better suited for me. I know alot of people have bad emotional reactions to phen but mine is destroying all my relationships from my family to my boyfriend to the people i go to school and work with. I am a sweet girl but since starting the phen i have become someone I don't want anything to do with. So my question is, has anyone tried phendimetrazine? Was it about the same, better, or what? Did it make you feel the same way emotionally that phen does? I'm anxiously waiting for someone to answer me!

    Hi Laurel,
I have tried phendimetrazine before. I was prescribed it in March of this year. I think I started it around March 15 and I weighed in at 262lbs.!!! When I went back to see the Dr. on May 5th I had lost 21.5 lbs. I was sorda pleased w/ these but upon trying the phentermine pills I found that these curve my appetite a whole lot better than phendimetrazine and I like phentermine better because of that. Well anyway different strokes for different folks you have got to do what's best for you. Good luck after all I did loose 21.5lbs.

    Question

    Teresa,

Do you have mood problems on the phen now though? And if so where they better on the phendimetrazine, or the phen? Don't get my wronge, I am loving the results of phen. But I don't love my attitude. Thanks, Laurel

    Laurel,
I wish I could offer advice about switching to phendimetrazine, but i can't. I don't know a thing about it. I have never taken it. I have taken Tenuate (diethypropion) before. It didn't seem to be as speedy as phentermine.

I use to think that phentermine made me more moody. When I would quit taking it my family never noticed the difference. I guess it was just me. I'm just a ***** either way.

You've noticed (so has your friends and family) that phentermine affects your attitude. I don't know if this will lessen with continued use. I wouldn't try to fool the ones who love you. If they truly care they should be able to understand how important losing weight is to you. You will only make yourself miserable if you lie to them and most likely they are going to find out. Talk to them and your doctor. There are other diet drugs. See what your options are. You and your doctor can decide which one is best for you.

I wish I could say something to make you feel better. Would you like a piece of Italian cream cake? It's yummy I'd be happy to share the calories with you. It's going to take me a month to lose the weight I've gained today.

    Laurel,
Hi. How are you today? Better I'm hoping. When I was on phendimetrazine I did'nt notice any mood swings nor do I notice any while I'm taking phentermine. I'm not saying that I'm not going through mood swings because I'm always fussing anyway. Maybe you can talk to your Dr. to see if there is anything that he or she can prescribe to kinda help your nerves out a little. Sorry that I'm always a hell-raiser and can't tell a difference in my attitudes w/ the pills. Anyway I wish you luck and I hope that things will get better for you so that you can continue on the pills.

    Talking

Ok, since the post Friday about stopping i have restarted! I just couldn't stay away. There's that addiction!! So, I have been taking 1/2 of a 37.5 @7.30am and 1/2 @1:00 pm. I think the problem was that I had been overdosing myself, I was taking 1 @7:30 and then a hlf at 1:00. Perhaps too much for my system. ****, I was overdosing myself, maybe I too am a schitso, or however you spell it!!! I have also been taking 2 St. Johns Wort caplets 3 times a day. I don't know if its splitting the tablets in half or the st. johns but I have been quite the happy little person since starting that way.

    Cool

    Laurel,
Sounds like you have everything under control. It's ok to be schizo as long as you're aware of it. A fine line is all that separates the genius from the insane. How dare the PDR list "severe social dysfunction" under "Drug Abuse and Dependence" This should be listed as an added bonus. Who want's to spend time with the inept (nice word for a**hole.) Too many HAPPY-FAKE people out there. There's a couple of people that I would like to give some phen to. Maybe then they would stay home and quit visiting me. I only answer the door if it's a guy in uniform. Must say "UPS or FED EX" and be holding a package. I suddenly feel an urge to go shopping. I'm going to go check out the Dooney & Bourke site. There's this purse that I must have.

    Laurel ~

As I said in the post about menstral cycles, I'm currently taking Phenda... I have noticed that it doesn't curve my appetite as much as Phentermine and it's more difficult to remember to take 1 pill an hour before breakfast, lunch and dinner, but I'm sticking to the Phenda...for this month.

When I first went to the Dr. he gave me Phend..and I lost 2.5 pounds within a week when I went back to him to switch to Phen because I was hearing that more people were taking the Phen compared to Phend..., but since my periods were irregular I had him switch me back to the Phend...

Well, I got a little off subject, but I haven't noticed a mood change on either pill, so maybe cutting back on your dose was the best thing for you to do. I had to play around with my dosage as well to find out what was working best for me.
