I-40 bridge collapse, Webber Falls, Oklahoma - Phentermine.com

This morning right before 8:00 a.m. a tug boat pushing barges collided with the I-40 Bridge that crosses the Arkansas River. A 400 foot section of the bridge collasped into the river. They at this point do not know How many people drove off of the bridge into the river. Please pray for all of the people they are trying to save, and the divers and rescue teams that are there right now.

My grandma lives in Tahlequah, OK which isn't very far from there. I was so worried. I hope that they rescue all the people. My prayers are with them and their loved ones.

That has been a recurring nightmare of mine since I was a little girl...that my car (with my family in it) goes over a bridge into the water). My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Hi Glenna, I too saw this on the news and think it's just horrible. I said a pray for all the people and rescuers involved.

There isn't alot to update with, they have pulled all but 6 (they think) vehicles out of the river so far and are re-routing all the traffic. Went to my sister-in-laws Sunday and the highway I use to go to her house is the one they are using...all of that 4 lane traffic on a little 2 lane, it was amazing. I'll send you the daily Oklahoman link if you want to keep up. They have identified at least one person. But the best source of news in Oklahoma (I think ) is the daily oklahoman newsok dot com. We have had ThunderStorms all day and it made the recovery effort stop for a few hours while the lightening was the worst.

I can't believe this!! It's come to the point where I don't even want to watch the news anymore. My heart and prayers are with the people who are involved. Anyone see "Mothman Prophesis"(sp). This kinda reminds me of that movie.
