Question
Hi Everybody! I need a little help on this
subject. Does anyone know what globulin
level is? I went to my Doctor to have a
check up and they took my blood and ran
some test and it showed that my globulin
level was low it was 1.5 and it should at
least be a 2. So I have to go and take
another test in a couple of days. The
nurse called me and said it has something
to do with muscle enzymes? I don't know?
Could this be anything caused from dieting
and working out or the phen? I could sure
use input and help. You know I can't stop
thinking about it.
Thanks.

Hi and Welcome!

I suggest you go and the internet and put in a search for globulin. I am not sure if the phentermine is causing the drop. Ask your DR.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Hi, just did a search on the net for globulin and found this - looks like it is related to immunity, a pretty important thing

globulin,
any of a large family of proteins of a spherical or globular shape that are widely distributed throughout the plant and animal kingdoms. Many of them have been prepared in pure crystalline form. The term globulin is a partly procedural one, used in classifying an otherwise diverse group of proteins that are soluble in water or dilute salt solutions. Among the most important are the immunoglobulins (Ig), the antibodies of the immune system (see immunity). They are classified into five types based upon structure: IgA, IgD, IgE, IgG, and IgM. IgG or γ-globulin is the most common and forms about 70% of the immunoglobins in the blood. Other globulins are involved in the transport of a variety of substances, including lipids, hormones, and inorganic ions.
Hope this is a good start!!
