Pjb: I'm proud of you for learning how to forgive the, "unforgivable", in your life.
I hated being a prisoner of hating. I got to the point where I had to let go or go insane. It's hard to hear this when you are so mad at someone or you hate someone or you just can't forgive them for whatever reasons, but realize you are the prisoner and not them. Let go and forgive, the easiest way for me was to just to forget! I hope this helps Pjb. |

I saw a talk show that highlighed on forgiving and forgetting. The Dr. said that people sometimes have a hard time forgiving someone for what they have done because then the person who is being forgiven may assume that whatever the did will be forgotten. What the Dr. suggested to say to someone is "I will forgive you for what you have done, but I will not forget it". It's always assumed the two go together "forgive & forget" and that is not always how people feel. I've never tried it but Yeah - who knows. It's better than keeping everything inside and you're right, that will make you go insane. Just thought I'd pass this along. |
