Alright, I hope someone can give me some happy notes this morning. I did my morning weigh and I didn't loose a pound. I am so depressed about it. Last week I lost 5 pounds. So this week I continued doing my exercise and eating right and drinking a gallon of water a day. Does this means that phen stoped doing it's thing? I've on it for three weeks. Please give me some feedback. I'm very discourage right now.

Have you been on phen before? I don't know why it's working that way, but you don't seem to be the only one.

No I haven't, but I was taking metabolife about a year ago which I lost 30 pounds.

Should I continue taking phen? I don't want to go back to my doctor's office when he sees that I'm not loosing that many pounds he will not prescribe phen anymore.

Janci: Do you have more than 20-30 lbs to loose? Phen usually has stronger results, the more you have to loose. When it's 30lbs or less, it doesn't produce dramatic results.

Do you still feel any energy from it and/or appetite control? If you don't feel anything from it at all, you might have reached tolerance and will need to go off it a few days to see if it will start working again.

Another possibility is that a dose increase might help; for example...changing from 30 mg to 37.5mg

Are you counting calories? Sometimes I think I'm eating good, but when I count to calories I find out I have ate way more than I thought I would. I would give it some time. My first week I lost 5 pounds, second 3.5, third 2.5, then my 4th week I gained 1.5. I weighed today and lost 3. Just give it time. Maybe your holding in a lot of water right now. Try and weigh yourself in a few days and keep track of your calories.

good luck, and dont give up yet

I do still feel the energy through out the day. I take adipex 37.5 in the morning before breakfast. I try to keep my calorie not more than 1200 a day.
    Right now i weigh 168 my goal is 135-140. I'm also 5'8".
I will continue taking them and see what happens. I'm also doing a lot of exercise and weight lifting so i don't know if that will make a difference.
Thanks for all of your input on this guys.

Janci: Try measuring; you may find you're loosing inches more than pounds right now. You want to loose 30-35 lbs; I know that seems like alot...but not when you compare it to 50-60lbs, for example.

I had about 34 lbs to loose when I started Phen..it never produced dramatic/fast results. ( but then I don't exercise). It helps me to maintain my weight loss; I still have 20-25 to go. Even if you only loose 2-3 lbs per month, you can reach your goal. I think you should carry on, and NOT get unhappy if you don't drop pounds fast.

Hi Janci...hang in there!! We have the same exact stas..I am now 168 and would like to be 135...but I will settle at 145. I am 5'8" ˝ and am BIG BONED. Man i got my fathers genes. I look bigger because I am "thick". I will never be model thin and I know that. I am so darn happy with my measly ol 8 pound weight loss i could sing. I do not exercise and I know I should...but thanks to MOONY, i am drinking water..lots more than i did before. Like i said Janci..hang in there.

    Janci:

If you are weight training it could very well be that your are building muscle mass, and losing fat, so to the scale its a wash, but your body is changing, I would take your measurements and go by those results, then when you get to the size you want to be..and love the way you look in the mirror, then weigh.. and make that your new goal .We can easily get fixated on a number and wont be happy until we get there, when in actuality, whats most important is how much we look like we weight...After all you dont wear a "I am 130 lbs" on your shirt! Fact is depending on your bone structure, woman your height can hold much more weight and look leaner, I am 5'9 and was always obsessed with 138..that was my magic number..all would be right in the world when I got there...I did...and you know what, I couldnt maintain it for more than 3 years...I drifted up to 145, stayed in the same size clothes and looked the exact same..so what is really the importance of a number...
    Just a thought
