phentermine plus prozac

Can anyone who takes this combination tell me if it works better than phentermine alone? Do you still get a burst of energy from the phentermine or does the prozac balance it out? Any effects that aren't felt on the phentermine alone? I'm curious because I do have a prescription of prozac but haven't taken it in months because it was making me feel "flattened out." Perhaps it wouldn't do this if I took it with the phentermine. Also, my sister-in-law is excited about starting this combination. A diet doctor prescribed it for her when all else failed.

I have a friend who used both, Im not sure of the dosages. She said it helped for short periods of time with bringing her energy back up. The side effects were memory loss. She felt it was severe enough to stop the combination.
