If you have a c-section scar running north-south on your body then i could understand that it could ruin your body for ever...but mine runs east -west (bikini line) So surely it should not really have an impact on how flat your tummy can be?
And the parting of the abdominal muscles, that is a normal part of pregnance, it happens to everyone to a degree....so shouldnt they mend if you work hard enough?
I know im harping on about this but i really want a nice tummy!!!
    Please someone give me hope!!

Sorry had to edit, I was logged in and you dont need that.

This site is where I and others here have purchased workout tapes, which I went a step further and bought the Hit the Floor tape. You can find that at T-Tapp store link is at the bottom left. Go read some of the post of all the inch loss in that same area caused by the same thing, C-Sections. Hope this has helped. Now I need to start doing mine again for the same reason. Flab hangover

I Have had three c-sections and my "over-hang" is just gross!

When my weight goes down it isn't quite as bad, but I figured without plastic surgury, I will have that "over-hang" forever.

Please keep me posted on how this T-Tapp works for you. I have seen others here that use it and I have checked the site out a couple of times. I just have never ordered it.

If you have lots of success with your stomach getting flatter, I just might have to look into those tapes myself.

    Have a Great Day!

Dawn you can definately have a flat tummy. I havent had any children- but my best friend is 38- two kids - both c sections and her stomach is as flat as mine! Stretching and yoga!!! They make all kinds of tapes for what ever you are trying to accomplish- they have quick beginner tapes 20-30min up to the power yoga I do that is 45-60 min.

Just search--everyone makes them now. I like Bryan Kest and Rodney Yee
but all the Denise austins, etc have one now too.

I've had three also, and I have major overhang! I still have some numb areas where the muscles were cut through. Let me know if the tapes work!

Hi there! yes there is hope for the c-sec tummy prob. I find I have to lose the extra weight first and then I notice my sit-ups show their work. Even 5# gaining will give me that pooch again though. I tend to wear extra support tummy undies if I wear something that shows that ridge. I guess a tummy tuck would eliminate that problem, but I kinda like my real belly button. If I got a tt the surgeon would create a new one for me. So I guess I'll always have the potential for a little pooch. Oh well the baby was worth it!

I have had 2 c-sections as well. I cant feel anything down at the bottom of my stomach where i was cut. i have the overhang everyone talks about. the plan was to have it removed, but with the hubby losing his job soon, that wont be happening. What works for this if anything ? I cant imagine mine ever going away

I've had a (one) c-section as well and with it came the dreaded overhang. I would love any feedback on the videos. It seems there are many of us who are in the same boat. I don't have any of the numb areas some of you spoke of. I will count myself lucky.
