i need you to download a waiver, have it notarized and fax it to me ..."

My son is visitng a friend in Texas this week. I wouldn't have let the boy go if I would have known it was going to be this much work for me!

Texas people, what is dynorock? I never heard of this and I lived in Arlington for 12 years. Is this a BIG rock? Should I be concerned? Should I worry that my son might do something stupid ... like forget he is climbing on big rocks?

How can I do all of this without leaving my computer chair?

Robin,
Dynorock is a place that you can go to climb rocks in a big gym like thingy. Its kinda like a Discovery Zone for older kids

Bubba, I'm always confused about then and than HELP ME! Than is used in comparisons? Then is used to show things like time difference? Like ... "the girl did this and then she did that"?

Does the ? go inside the () or after the ()?

It has to do if the question is part of the quote, right?

"I acknowledge that my participation in rock climbing at an outdoor artificial rock climbing wall entails known and unanticipated risk that could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risk simply cannot be elimated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.

The risks include, amoung other things: falling off the wall; lose and/or damaged artificial holds; rented equipment failure; falling to the ground, on other users, or being fallen on by other users; abrasions from the wall, ropes, pads, or the floor; equipment failure; belay and belay failure; climbing out of control or beyond ones personal limits; the negligence of other climbers, visitors, participants, or other persons who may be present; musculoskeletal injuries and/or over training; head injuries; or my own negligence. Furthermore, DR employees have difficult jobs to perform. They seek safety, but they are infallible. They might be unaware of a participant's fitness or abilities. This waiver is allowed to be faxed. So no original signature is expected. The faxed paper would be received as a copy.
