Anyone care to give me an average of pounds lost per week? I'm on Phen for the 2nd time and the 1st time I lost 7 lbs in the 1st week...this time only 2 lbs in 2 weeks. Just wonderng what's the normal rate. Wondering if maybe I should call my dr. and ask for something else. Thanks!

Amy - do you have less weight to lose? Are you exercising? I think the average is depending on how your body reacts to phen. I lost 20 pounds in 6 months but I don't have too much to lose.

I've been Phen for week and 3 days. On my weekly weighin, I was down 7-8lbs. I am sorta doing the Aitkins diet also but not following it carefully. I did this in 1999 and lost 24 lbs in about two months but I was exercising everyday - running about 3 miles and then 1/2 more cardio. I haven't gotten back to gym yet. I know weight loss will slow down (I want to lose about 20 more) but I think with the Gym and eating right, I can at least keep up something coming off (I HOPE).

Good luck.

Amy, I think everyone's weekly weight lose must be different because of a lot of reasons.I lost 10lbs in the first 4 or 5 days, but I think a lot of mine was loss of fluids. Now it has really slowed down.Yuck! Good luck.

The first week is always the big one for me when I start getting serious about losing weight! Start off strong, taper off, taper off...plateau...get lazy...panic, gain a little...and so on

Thanks for the replies....feeling better now. Actually, I had a baby 8 weeks ago and have 25 lbs to lose, but i may be screwing myself up trying too hard because my husband and i are taking a 7 day trip to Mexico in March so I'm practically starving myself to hit my goal by then. From what I've heard, I may be in "starvation" mode. I'm doing Tae Bo 4 times a week though, so I really expected SOME change! Guess I better work on eating more...sounds strange to say that. And I would love email buddies (Ameekonk****.com). With 3 kids now my computer is my only form of social interaction! Thanks again, ladies!

Talking

Trini and StaciLeigh~
I'm so glad to have found both of you! We have so much in common! Hopefully we can all keep each other motivated and get this weight off and make our men proud! My husband and I have been married 8 years and have never had a vacation alone and we NEED this, so I'll be real dissappointed if I can't at least get back into my clothes! I love all the info you get on this forum! Keep in touch!

Amy,

I too am going away in March- to Puerto Rico! I have to lose about 30 pounds.. and lost 6 pounds my first week. I am also going to the dietican who put me on Phentermine and a strict diet ( 750 calories a day) Hopefully- I'll get down to my goal by the end of march.

Still doing the Ab-doer ( which I LOVE!) and waiting for my Tae-bo tapes in the mail.

Good Luck!

Cool

JerseyGirl~
Wow! 750 calories a day has to be tough! Is this your 1st time using Phen? The Tae Bo tapes are great! The advanced one'll kill you if you try it too soon!! I really like them though, and that's saying alot because I think I'd rather scrub my toilets than excercise! Good luck!
