Of course you are not doomed. Everyone eats things that are not the best for us. The thing to remember is get right back on program. We have the rest of our lives to eat, we just have to eat the bad stuff in moderation.

Today's my birthday, and I'm gonna eat birthday cake, ice cream, and pizza. You have to indulge once in a while. But tomorrow, back on the old diet again!

Paula is at the beach so I have some time to get serious And this topic is similar to the "day off" topic in a way.

    JacJac,
Don't make the foods you love "bad" foods. Now think about this ...

What is your goal? Is it to only eat "healthy" and not have a desire for junk food or the foods you love to eat?

When people go on a "diet" they make drastic changes that they are unable to live with. They think that all the foods the have loved to eat are bad for them. Therefore, they try to quit eating these foods all together. When they do eat what they like, they feel guilt!

I guess giving up the foods you love is fine if you can and want to do that. But who does this???? And who stays in shape and HAPPY from not eating the foods they love?

It's ok to eat 1.5 scoops of ice cream You could be just as doomed from eating too much salad (LOL).

You need a variety of foods. You even need some fat

Everyone has different nutritional needs. Don't do drastic unless you want to live this way (all those goofy fad diets.)

Don't eat too little or your body will think it's starving and you will gain weight later on. And you know not to eat too much.

Do all of the food groups, drink water, watch out for all the suger, salt, carbonation, and that kind of stuff.

    Take a multi vitamin.

    EXERCISE

Let phentermine help to get you into the routine of exercising. Even though it suppress your appetite, you still need calories.

Would you rather be more active and be able to eat the things you like, or eat less and none of the things you love?

There are some people who can eat what ever they want and never have to exercise, but they must be posting in a different forum. And there little "diet" doesn't work for most people.

Losing weight and getting into shape isn't easy, but it doesn't have to be that hard. Only try to change what you know you can live with. And never think of exercising as an admittance of failure. Exercising is not a sign that you are weak or that you've lost the power to wish the weight away. Exercising give you the power to control how your body looks
