Looking for Dr. to prescribe on L.I., NY

Anyone out there know of a Dr. who will prescribe Phen? I live on LI and am presently paying $120.00 every two weeks b/c I do not have a prescription, he just gives pills from his office. I know it is a lot less expensive when you get a prescription. Help! I can not afford this anymore!

my advice is..get out your phone book and call every dr office and ask them if they would consider prescribing you adipex..etc.. Use this approach...Tell them you are currently taking diet meds and you feel that your dr isn't monitoring you as well as he should. (even if you have to lie, LOL) That way they see you are being responsible. Tell them you will continue to take the meds because they are helping you. But if they can take you on as a patient you would greatly appreciate it. Tell them you are taking them because you want to get healthy...not to be thin....(lie again,if you have to , he he he) This is exactly how I got a new dr to prescribe them for me

I called a dr office and said I was looking for a new primary dr and I proceeded to say I was going to a diet clinic and I was worried about the care I was getting there. I said that I planned to contimue taking the meds but I would prefer going to one dr so I could be monitored better.

My doctor, Dr. Karimi.. is in Manhattan and Montvale NJ.. I met someone from Long Island that visits him every other week..

He puts you on a food intake plan as well as the phentermine- however, he also doesn't give the pills.. but in the form of drops- so that you can have a little bit- throughout the day

I have better sucess this way.. the pills just left me hungry after 3 hours.
