    Question

I was wondering why they took Fastin off the market? Doe' s anyone know? That is what my Dr.prescribed to me about 2 weeks ago and they gave me the Phentermine. The pharmacist said that the Fastin wasn't much more expensive than what I was getting but didn't tellme they took it off the market. I just assumed they still had it.

They took it off the market becuase they found out I liked it. No, really, I'm not sure, but there were quite a few posts back in the fall that discussed this..try to search on fastin on the search feature here and it will pull it up. I do remember someone found some at her pharmacy (wal mart?) I also recall that it wasn't "taken off the market" the manufacturer stopped making it.

King pharmacuticals, which produced brand-name Fastin capsules, went out of the phentermine business in 1998 when SmithKline-Beecham withdrew the product.

But if you go to walgreens.com, they show that they are caring Fastin.

    UNBELIEVABLE!

Someone needs to tell walgreens that this can't be

Danelady, would you email them and ask WHAT THE FU** IS GOING ON

Either Walgreens is selling 2 year-old phen,
or they are secretly making it for SK Beecham.

    I just e-mailed them.
I would like to know why you advertise that you sell Fastin when it has been off the marker since 1998:

King Pharmaceuticals, which produced brand-name Fastin capsules, went out of the phentermine business in 1998 when SmithKline-Beecham withdrew the product.
