    Red face

Hi everyone: I am the rare person who is totally satisfied with my 37.5 Phen (generic) I think it is...it's all very confusing...but I'm almost certian my white pill is the generic brand. This drug has been a God send to me. What ever is in my brain that makes me obsess about food ...this pill takes it away...now I eat like a "normal" person or in reality a "thin" person. But my question is when do we stop.??...I am not under a doctor's care but geez I would be happy to stay on this for life. DO we have to stop after 3 months because we build an
ammunity-sp to it?? What if we took 2 pills a day or more? Are there negative heath risks to this? Wish I knew more about this marvelous drug....it really is the "cure" for me! Any suggestions would be appreciated! mag

    Hi ITSUPTOU2,

Sounds like you are doing very well!! I am very pleased with my generic "all white" pill also.

I was telling you the other day that I had an appointment with the doctor and he told me at my last visit that I should go it alone after my 4th month. But, when I went in and he saw what great results I've had and my blood pressure was excellent and have not had any side effects, he said there was no reason I could not continue to take phen and he gave me a prescription for another 3 months. I didn't even have to ask, let alone beg as I was prepared to do.

Wishing you great success in your quest for weight loss!! Keep up the good work!!

    Hi ITSUPTOU2,

    Dear Yvette:

After I posted I thought about you and your great notes to me and thot I should just have written you...but this isn't like e-mail tho! Thanks Yvette...So your doc said you can stay on it for another 6 months great news Yvette! I was just wondering why they want you to go off it after 3 months...The other day I WAS WORRIED BECAUSE I HAD TO RUN OUT IN THE MORNING FOR WORK AND FORGOT TO TAKE A PILL AND SUFFERED FROM A SEVERE HEADACHE all day...and of course when I got home I ate too much. I was wondering if the headache was from withdrawal symptoms or was my head hurting from other things (heavy period that day). Have you every experienced this if you missed a day? thanks, marg

Marg, the doctor didn't want me to stop taking phen because of any potential health issues. He was afraid of me depending on them to assist with weight loss. But after he realized that was not the case, and after I reminded him that phen was not a magic pill and one must do the right things to consistently continue to lose weight week after week, he saw no reason for me to stop at this point.

I have not experienced any side effects from taking phen or from skipping a couple days. I have been lucky in that respect.
