New Phentermine User...

Hello, to all. Would like to say that I enjoy reading your messages. First of all, im a new Phentermine User, started yesterday. I use ADIPEX 37.5, one tablet a day. Went to my doctor because I was gaining to much weight after I gave birth to my baby, im 5.2 and weigh 218 pounds, ive never weigh this much before. I was 3 months pregnant and weighed 131 pounds. I dont eat a lot to begin with, I let my doctor know this, that is why I was a little surprised when he prescribed this appetite suppresent. I havent noticed any changes in me yet, no dru mouth, no energy, and im still hungry. This is my first time using this medication. Today I took my second pill and haven't noticed any changes yet. My question is, are the changes suppose to happen gradually? Does Phentermine do anything to your metabolism? Please help!!!!!, my doctor wasn't very helpful!!

Hey Lycia,

You say you can't tell anything is different at all yet? And it's day two? Hmmm.... I could tell a difference the first day I took mine. Is yours the tablet pill (the kind that can be broken in half) or the capsule? I know I have heard so many say that the different types can affect people so differently. That is something to consider, if you don't see any change soon.

Thank you for replying Rena, and yes, today is my second day. The pill im taking is ADIPEX 37.5 and it can be broken in half. Its an oblong pill , its white with blue specks on it. Maybe I need to give it more time? The changes I meant to say that I haven't noticed ere the ones I mentioned before, but I did notice that after I took the first pill yesterday morning, I got a little bit of chills, and my nose and feet when cold all day. Also, my eyes hurt just a little, but little details like that won't keep me from trying Phentermine, ive heard far to many good experiences with this medication.
