I am just so disguisted, I can not stand it. I have been on phentermine for one week and have lost zilch, zero, notta thing! You would at least think I would have lost at least one pound, but I haven't. If someone could please tell me what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate it! I have been walking on the treadmill 30 minutes a day at speed of 3.3-3.5. I started doing Tae-Bo two days ago and eating under 600 calories a day, and watching fat grams. I have been eating grapes, apples, pretzels, licorice, grilled chicken breast and drinking scads, and scads, of water!!! I have got to lose 50 pounds. I just don't know what to do! Please someone help me, Please!

Whoa! It sounds like you're trying to kill yourself and your body doesn't want you to. I'm no expert, but it's my guess your poor body thinks it's starving and it's hanging on to everything it can...including water!
You don't have to loose this 50lbs all at one time. My suggestion would be to go a little easier on yourself or you'll burn out, be totally discouraged and give up. Logic tells you that living on 600 calories a day will make you loose weight. Considering that, and the exercise, I really think the ol' body is trying to just hold on to anything it can.

First, you are consuming too little food. Increase your calorie level to about 1,200 calories minimum. If you are exercising consistently and between 70-80% of maximum heart rate at least 3 times a week, you could probably increase your intake to about 1500 calories a day. Remember, lean protein, fruits and vegetables and complex carbs with a little bit of fat. I exercise for an hour and a half four times a week -- treadmill and weight training and eat approximately 1500 calories daily (a bit more some days, less others). Sometimes, (usually the week after my period) I find that my appetite is almost non-existent. I still make it a point to eat at least 1000 calories a day on those days (peanut butter is a godsend.)

On this regimen, I lose between 2-3 pounds per week (after a first week loss of 5 lbs.) I've lost 30 lbs. since Feb. 3 without a significant loss of muscle. My doctor does body composition tests monthly.

I'll admit, I'm really sensitive to phentermine. I'm still on one 15mg capsule daily and I haven't felt the effects diminish. My doctor assumed that he would have to increase the dosage by this time.

I see my dr. every month for my phentermine. My first month I had to visit him after being on it 2 weeks. I expected to have lost quite a bit. I wasn't hungry (so I didn't eat very much) and I was exercising every day, drinking lots of water. When I was weighed I had only lost 3 lbs. I was so disappointed. But after I thought about it, I wasn't eating enough. So I started eating a little more, even when I wasn't hungry. At my 1 month check up, I had lost 12 lbs. Didn't make sense to me but it worked. My body thought it was starving so it shut down. Good luck.

I have only been on Phen for 4 days so I don't have a lot of imput but what I do believe to know is that sometimes it will take 2weeks or so for the weight to all of a sudden come off. Maybe try weighing every 2 weeks ( I know it is hard ) but that might be a better overall look. Good luck and Keep up the good work.
