    Question

Hi, I have a question for anyone to answer . . . I've been taking Phentermine for a while and it's always worked really well for me (decreasing appetite, etc.). The last time that I ordered, they said they were out of the generic Phentermine (which always came as the white pills with blue speckled dots) and so they sold me Adipex, which I understand is just the name brand of Phentermine. Well, if Adipex is Phentermine, than why does it not work as well. I don't feel like the Adipex is doing anything in comparison to the Phentermine. Are they really the same and what could be some of the reason's for the difference in my body's response?

I'll give this one a shot. From the info that I have gathered among the other posts all the phen/adipex pills are the same. There is a million different kinds, colors, shapes and etc. but the bottom line is they are the same. I have heard of one or two others say they liked a certain type better but I would think that is because of the way your body absorbs it. Some of the pills are tiem released, or slow absorbing so you are not getting as much in your system at once. With these you will get a more gradually, and steady effect. Where as the tablets are not time released. they just dissolve and go into your body and you will feel them quicker and more intense at first, but their effects may wear off quicker than the others. I have taken two different kinds and have notcied no difference in either one. I hope this makes sense and is of help.

    Welllllll,
I didn't take it as her second time around, it sounds like she is just continueing and she reordered. But in any case your body gets used to the drug and the effects are not as strong as when first started.

Bo Peep, just so you know the white pills with blue speckles are Adipex- which is the brand name of phentermine.... i just came from my pharmacy yesterday and had asked the same question. those are more expensive, they have a generic brand of adipex which are the same size but are all white and less expensive.

    Question

When you all talk about "the second time around" how much time in between using the phen are you talking about? Weeks? Months? Years? Wouldn't you get "unused to it" and have the full effect after it was out of your system completely?
