Is it true that the FDA is not gonna approve the making of phen, or is this a common scare?, and also does anybody have suggestions to the cheapest phen on line???
Just in case I need to stock up.

Hi Julie!

Not sure if they will discontinue making/supplying phen, but I do know that there is always a replacement. I was taking phen for two weeks then my Dr. switched me to Bontril. This was discussed in an earlier post, but I will tell you, it's basically the same as phen. In fact, I think it's better - but that's probably because it's a higher mg. than the phen I was on.

Just thought I'd pass that along!

Thankyou, for the info, I think I'll go ahead and ask my dr to perscribe the Bontril, I've not heard of any shortages or scares on that product.
