I know you've heard this before and don't want to hear it again, but a 2 pound weight loss is good. The slower you lose weight the more likely you are going to keep it off. Trust me, it adds up fast. I lose and average of 2-3 pounds per week and to me it has been coming off fast if you look at the big picture. From what I have observed a lot of people lose a ton of weight the first couple of weeks and then it tapers off and they lose about 2-3 pounds a week as well. BTW I am also on phend.

Are you doing anything besides taking the med? Perhaps some exercise might help. The drugs only go far, you have to help it along.

agreed, although we all wish there was a magic pill, this is the only thing that comes close enough, but you still have to exercise and eat right. Phen or PhenD only make it a little easier!

I agree with the others...you really have to eat right and workout! If your doing that just continue! I take phenD also and I just got back taking them and being serious and although I don't know what I weighed when I "for real for real" started back I can tell n my clothes that definately a loss happened. One day I will make it to a scale.

My doctor has started me out on PhenD and said once it stops working we would switch my meds. He also told me that a 2% weight change is a great healthy start and that it is recommend that a person stays in that range and a 5% in a month. I found a great simple percent weight change calculator at http://www.nutrivive.org/Weight_Change.htm

Just watch what you eat try to stay in the 1000-1200 calorie intake and make sure you drink half your weight in water. It is really important that you drink your water.

I too felt discouraged and but someone reminded me that I might not be losing weight but might be losing inches, and its true I feel it in my clothes.

    Stay positive.
