Default Hello all, trying the Phen again

Ok, I stopped a few months back because of the chest pressure, doc told me a little while ago to start over, I took my first dosage on the 12th. So...I take 3 35mg tablets twice daily, once at about 7AM and the second around 3PM. I've lowered my calories under 1000 (at docs insistance) I started at 273.6 and am now 271.5! I am exercising at least 3 days a week (all cardio, I was cautioned at this calorie intake not to do weights).

I'm really getting discouraged, the weight is not coming off. I called the doc this AM and was told she wants to change me to a liquid diet...I don't know if I can do that, or if I want to. I've been drinking two Atkins shakes in the AM and then I have 90% lean burger in the PM...that's it. I don't understand why the weight is not coming off. We have gone through every test possible...I've been in ketosis since day 3 (15th) so I'm really at a loss.

Suggestions?

I've not heard of phen coming in 35 mg...are you sure it's not 30 or 37.5? And it sounds like a lot...I can't tell from your post if your taking 2 tablets or 4....but at any rate it sounds like there may be other things going on, possibly a thyroid issue. You can still have a thyroid problem even if your tsh test came back normal--others on this site could tell you more about it b/c they have had the same problem, but I do know there are more extensive tests you can get on your thyroid that will reveal more than just the basic tsh. How long have you been on phen this time?
