Dr. Switched me to PhenD instead of PhenT....I love it!!

Hello all....I am new to this site, but figured I would jump right in.

Phentermine VS Bontril:

I am now taking Bontril 105mg once a day. I have never taken it before but I was originally on Phentermine. Here are a few things I have to say about the Bontril SWITCH....

Cons:
I started phentermine 37.5mg l and in one year I managed to lose about 30 lbs and somewhat keep if off. I am 169lbs now, but have not been on anything in a while. I recently went back to my MD and was put on Bontril, and at first it didn't seem to give me the same Edge as Phen, but this week has been Insane! I have lost 5lbs in one week!
Although the Bontril seems to be working now, I must say that if you are put on it you HAVE to eat. If you don't you feel really, really bad. The effects of the drug (nervousness, cotton mouth, and increased heart rate) really become apparant if you don't eat. The problem is that Im' not hungry....but if I haven't eaten I will simply eat a piece of bread or something when I feel the side effects kickin in....as soon as I eat they go away.

PROS

I didn't have much faith in this Medication at first, but I will say that the Bontril doesn't make me feel nearly as "cracked out" as the phentermine did. When I took Phentermine I could always tell the moment the drug kicked in because I would get almost a "high" from it.....which I hated! It always went away within an hour, but for that hour I had heart palpitations, and I was really nervous!!
Another great side effect is that my Libido has gone through the roof! I feel sorry for my guy, but I just can't seem to get enough of a "good thing" lately. (I feel like I'm 19 again!

)
Finally, the best thing (as if you could top the previous Libido increase) is that the medication lasts ALL Day....Phentermine woudl always wear off if I took it early in the morning. If I took it at 6am then its effects were gone by say 8pm or so. With the Bontril I can honestly say that I can still feel it after 8pm. Works Great!!

i was considering asking my doc to switch me to phenT. im on 35mg of phenD. it felt like it was losing effect. well last night i took two at once, just to see if i could feel the energy and apetite suppressant again...i did...my heart went insane, and it was a little bit harder to sleep. i realized taking one pill still has the affect, i just dont feel jittery or anything. ive lost 5lbs and now im at a plateau. i eat about a thousand calories a day. what does your intake and exercise include?

TOTALLY agree about the libido thing!! My boyfriend is NOT complaining! LOL If it were up to him it would be 3 times a day.. now at leasts he gets it 3-4 times a week. Before, I was either just too tired or not in the mood.. now I am neither!! I love this stuff! (Taking Phen-D, not PhenT)
