Anyone taking phen and phen-d together

My weight loss Dr. changed my meds to 37.5 phen in the morning and 35 mg of phen-d at 3pm. Other than a headache I haven't noticed much of a difference. Anyone else use the 2 together?

Hi there. When I was on phen earlier this year, I was on 40mg of Phen and 35 mg of Phen-D. I, like you had headaches and dropped weight like there was no tomorrow! The only other side effect I had was massive constipation. Good luck and for the headaches try Excedrin tention headache pills. They work wonders!

Thanks. I was starting to think no one else had tried the two together. I have been fighting a severe case of the munchies after everyone goes to bed so I have not noticed much of a weight difference yet but then again it's only since Friday and Tom just ended on Monday. I feel like my head is going to split! Any ideas why it causes headaches? Every site I have been on says NOT to combine the two but I guess the clinic knows what it's doing. Thanks again. Well the majority of the headaches turned out to be a sinus infection. That's getting better so the headaches are lessening. My biggest problem right now is REMEMBERING to take the phen-d at 3pm. I didn't realize until almost 5pm the other day.....needless to say I was up awhile that night! Won't take it again that late, that's for sure!

I have never heard of the phen d but let me know if its working so I can ask for it. I'm on phen 37.5 mg one and a half aday but it doesn't really seem to be doing much. If I sit down any time after 7pm I fall asleep where ever I'm at. Grrr I'm really wanting to drop some lbs before christmas !

The verdict is still out on the phen-d combo. My eating has been a little out of control lately. Not because I was hungry but just looking to graze I guess out of stress. I'll keep you posted.

Haven't noticed much of a difference but then again my caloric intake hasn't been what I should either. Going to give it another month and see what happens.

I take both phen in the morn and phen d around 4, all i have to say is that it's a great combination. Phen in the morn holds my appetite and phen d kicks in and gives me a big boost of energy during the evening, i have two toddlers and gods knows i need all the energy i can get, but yes they work great together, i would have it no other way.

Sorry to ask an obvious question. Is Phen short for Phentermine? And what is Phen-D?

Yeah, phen is short for phentermine and phen-d is short for phendimetrazine (had to get the bottle out to spell it) it's just easier to abbreviate. I love your name, my middle child's name is Isabella and we usually call her Bella, some how it got shortened to B last year and she informed us at the beginning of school this year that it's Bella, not B. She's 7 going on 30!
